Ohana Japanese Hibachi Seafood & Steakhouse, Bronx NY

I love Ohana in City Island. I've been twice on the weekend for the Hibachi. The food is excellent and service is very good. Staff is friendly and efficient. It's very consistently good. The valet parking is appreciated, and the valet is a great guy.

It was wonderful. Food was great, staff very attentive. Little pricier than your average hibachi place bit still worth it nonetheless.

Pleasant people, pleasant atmosphere, but the chef was the best part of the night. While he cooks, he sang and gave us jokes. My companions did not enjoy their food, but I did. I had the shrimp and scallop. For my drink, I had the "Sake Julep. " I was refreshing.

Went there earlier and the hostes was very rude. The plates and utensils were dirty. The chef that was cooking at our table had a foul smell. One star is too much to give to ohana. Worst experience ever. Will never go back or recommend to anyone else. - 5stars

Met friends for lunch and drinks. Good selection of combo meals and/or entrees to choose and watch the chef prepare the meals in front of us. Attentive wait service. On street or valet parking is available depending on time of arrival. Took home leftovers to satisfy any later snacking needs.

Very friendly staff and delicious food. My mom was visiting from out of town, and this gave me a reason to explore the city I reside in. I definitely plan on coming back to this spot.

First time going. Very clean, the place is alittle small but it's a fun atmosphere the drinks were good. I had chicken and steak with rice veg's very good food. I will be going back and the workers are very nice and welcoming

Visited for the first and last time on 07/25/21. I wish there was an option for zero stars but, I'll have to settle for one. This place is called Ohana, but I'd suggest a name change to "Onever". If you love salty food, then this is the place for you. And for the amount of money that was spent at this restaurant, I think I would have felt better if I'd just thrown my money in a woodchipper, lit it on fire and called in a day.

The food was amazing. Great atmosphere and the service was great. I love the music. The waitress was very friendly and she did a great job. The drinks was so good. That's why I'm giving them 5 stars. The food was so delicious.

Fantastic place with fantastic chef that makes your evening wonderful. The food was great as well as the drinks. If it's your birthday you get a free entre and at the end of the day you get ice cream.

Stopped in from out of town & had a seat at the bar. Ordered a sushi rainbow roll & a side of the shrimp fried rice. Bartender Aliha (sp?) was very pleasant & attentive. She recommended a few drinks, went with the ohana japa-rican. Not a fan of sticky sweet drinks & this fit my pallet perfectly. Food & drinks were on point. Overall a great experience & can't wait for the opportunity to go back.

I had dinner here about a year ago and the service was superb, food excellent. The table service and time was within the time they provided. I recently came back and the food was not the same (Too salty, rice was mushy, was told I would be seated within 30 minutes and was seated at around 90 minutes). Despite having empty tables service has taken a hit. Besides the chef who was great performer, the other staff members present seemed to have a poor attitude.

Nice hibachi, calamari was tasty. Seafood was a little salty 4 me but overall good atmosphere.
