OIP-Original Italian Pizza reviews
16Wings were great. Pizza just needs a bit more salt in the sauce and less sauce or wetness on the pizza. Cheese and dough has to be on the drier side. Moisture causes the cheese to slide off the pie rather than stick together. Hope this helps! Will be back. Thanks
Great pizza and wings but they don't list their prices on their website so it's an L for customer service
I like the pizza a lot and have been getting 2 slices for the last 3 Saturdays. My question is when I get the same order each week the price is different depending on who rings me up. Also, I go to a different OIP near my work and the same slices are a different price than the Manlius shop. Hummmm. The OIP near my home is in Manlius. Near work is in Mattydale. Both are very good for pizza, I wonder why they have different prices for the same products.
Bought two slices and char grilled wings. The pizza was mediocre, lacking seasoning and dry. The wings had exceptional flavor and char but also dry. Both tasted like they had potential but disappeared sitting way to long on a warming rack. Hoping to try again and ordering a fresh pizza.
Been a while since I ordered from here so I decided to try it again. I got a large pie extra cheese, pizza wasn't bad but the cheese was all over the place, swished all over the pie like the driver carried it on a slant, it was so messy that you couldn't see where a slice was!
My next complaint is that they charge a 4.99 delivery fee and no where on there site does it state that! The driver is not door dash or grub hub but OIP's own driver! Mind you I live a block away and had I been told this in advance I would have canceled! I was getting over covid otherwise I would have picked it up myself!
I left a message for the owner Rosario to call me back but never heard from him! I will never order from there again and I will tell my friends and neighbors to do the same!
Great pizza. Atmosphere was only 4 because it was close to closing so workers were cleaning and no other patrons
Pizza was ready quickly and cooked the way I had requested (golden brown crust). The guy that handed me my order was friendly.
Can’t go wrong here if you want good pizza. Lots of different toppings and they also have subs.
Food was good, but I had ordered pepperoni on my sheet pizza and when I got home, I noticed it was not on it.
Great pizza all the way around. Good size slices and specialty slices available for lunchtime with minimum wait.
For a few dollars more than that rubbery "pizza" at Domino's, get one from OIP and be reminded of how good pizza can actually taste!
Good slice selection. Never waited more than 5 minutes for an order. Char grilled wings are a must try
Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza.slight firmness to the crust, unbelievably delicious!
& a few Garlic knots = Yummy
LOVE this place! Best wings I've had EVER! Pizza was awesome too but I instantly fell in love with their wings
This is the first time I ordered from the Manlius shop. It was awful. The pepperoni pizza was so salty I could barely eat it. I thought it was the pepperoni but it wasn’t. I’ve never had a pizza where the salt burned my tongue. It tasted like they deliberately used too much salt. I also ordered a calzone and it was flattest calzone I’ve ever seen. There was barely any cheese but they packed the spinach. I’ve ordered from the West Genesee Street shop and their food was fantastic. The calzone had plenty of mozzarella and ricotta cheese and the pizza was the best I’ve tasted. The Manlius shop was a $30 lesson and will never return.
Worst OIP I've ever been to! At a place where you are a chain you don't expect for the pizza to taste and look different every single time! When you ask for a light baked on a pizza you don't expect the bottom to be as dark as cardboard and as thick is cardboard, and the cheese on top to be brown. The location is literally a block away and it still takes an hour for them to deliver. I'll be ordering from Twin Trees from now on at least they are uniform and you know what you're going to get!
