The atmosphere is great. The actors are knowledgeable and pleasant. It was a great history lesson and a good experience.

They always have great events going on. I love that you can visit the old houses. Just wish they would bring back the pretzels at the store. I loved going for the birch beer and my pretzel.

Such a nice day! What a great place to just relax, walk around, and absorb our interesting history. They host many cool events, so be sure to check the calendar on their website before you visit. I'll be visiting again in the future.

Attended a Senior Birthday Party called "Celebrating Seniors". It was a wonderful experience. We received information from various County departments: Aging, mental health, county clerk, veterans service, crime victim. We also received lunch, entertainment, music. This was a nice birthday present from the office of the county executive on the fairgrounds.

We had an excellent time at the Long Island Fair! Unfortunately the man at the general store was incorrect about when dungarees and the Levi's were being sold by catalog across the country.

Fun historical experience! You can experience the 18th and 19th century life through visiting exhibits including homes, stores, school, and even a church. We went when it opened at 10 and we were not at all crowded or rushed. It was a very enjoyable 2 hours.

Such a fascinating village where you can immerse yourself in 19th century farm life. There are numerous buildings and exhibits to see, and it's a lot of fun for the whole family and children when they have festivals here. 19th century baseball games are played here sometimes and it's very interesting to see the game played as it was in 1864.

They have staff members at most historic buildings in the village running tours and a quick demo of some of the tools. Good inexpensive experience.

Due to the weather, some of the houses were closed, so we ended up getting a private tour and it was absolutely amazing. Staff is very friendly, knowledgable, and they love what they do. Great experience!

Really cool experience, especially with the kids. We went for Fourth of July weekend and they did a reenactment of soldiering, baseball game, live bands, dancing and a parade. Also had crafts at the old school house. Was a grand ol time!

A hidden gem that unless you want there on a school trip, like I did you would never know it is there. A great new feature as soon as you pull in is the tank museum. I was in awe when I saw the size of these tanks.

Sponsored by the American Armor Museum. WW II reenactment. Had a great time, fun for all ages. Half track rides, demonstrations, and games. Ear protection is recommended for those with sensitive hearing.

Place is huge and built to reenact an old village. Lots of history to be told. Great place to visit.
