Miles and miles of open level paths. I hike, bike on various trails quite a bit and sometimes it's nice to just have a place that provides an easy, casual environment. I'm not a fan of the paving project that took place in some sections of the path because I enjoy getting off the asphalt and concrete of my work day and want the feeling of soil, grass or gravel underfoot. I can understand and appreciate they were looking to improve accessibility though and I will begrudgingly admit they have done that. This multi use area also has some underated fishing.

Beautiful place to talk a walk or ride a bike or even just sit and relax and watch the world go by on a sunny afternoon.

There are two sections that have been paved relatively recently and they have been maintained very well.

Very good location to park and access the Canalway Trail. Nice multi-purpose trail, portions are paved and others are crushed gravel. The trail crosses some roads, but pedestrian crossing signs are posted and drivers were very courteous.

Very nice walking trail. Very well kept. Snow not really plowed but that should be expected. People on the trail were friendly.

Recent updates to this area have improved parking and given this part of the canal a paved section.

The parking lot was only plowed half in so there is a snow barrier that prevents half of the parking lot from being used. People weren't honoring the parallel parking on the right, and it helped fit more cars. It will all melt soon enough.

We go biking there every other day. Others walk and run. Many covenant parking areas at different locations.

I had a wonderful experience there today. It was nice and a little breezy. Wasn't too many people, meaning it wasnt crowded. I did some walking which was the main reason i went. It was 90°+ but not humid. You can get in a nice quiet time as well as see parts of nature. The walking/riding trail is paved now. Making the experience much better than before.
