Old Town Bar reviews
18Nice ambiance and made to have conversation with friends. No TVs on the walls which is great.
Great draught beer, burger was on point and the staff were really cool. Pleasantly surprised, will definitely return. Thanks!
This is a great little bar with an authentic local vibe. The food was good, the drinks were good, the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Loved the history of the bar and the old decor. Feels like you're walking into history. Highly recommend this place if you like history. Food and service were good too!
Great place. Its got atmosphere, great food and excellent service. And the drinks were reasonably priced. Definitely going again.
Old school classy with straightforward drinks and food. A REAL New Yorker spot. Looking for trendy pretentious food and atmosphere? Look elsewhere!
Pretty good classic pub, with high ceilings, and even higher stall doors. No number 2s here.
Service is quite good, but make sure you have a sweater as its quite cold inside.
AMAZING! GOOD SERVICE, GOOD PLATES, BEAUTIFULL PLACE, NICE CREW, REASONABLE PRICES! AND PLACE WITH NICE HISTORY! DELICIOUS PLATES! AND PASTRIES!
The most braindead service I've experienced in 3-4 countries. Saw multiple patrons waiting forever until aggressively flagging down bar staff. One bartender did F all besides whatever she had to and flirted with a manager (or who knows who) the full evening. Pleasant overall, but braindead.
There's a reason why this place has been around since 1892. The quintessential NYC Irish Pub
Harry and the lovely lady (sorry, can't recall your name) made us very welcome. Here's to the next 130 years for the urinals
The service was bad, food was descent. The place is also quite small and I did not like the environment much.
This is an incredible place!
The staff is wonderful and the Guinness pints are top notch!
Fantastic old bar right near Union Square. Great drinks on tap, cold Guinness, and nice staff. Pretty crowded around 6: 00 but worth squeezing in at the bar!
I like the decor. Limited menu (if I remember correctly) but the burger I had was great. Very nice service. Sat in the booth which was a but tight getting in and out of. Has a bar downstairs and seating upstairs. Not sure if there are tables downstairs.
I walked out after being sat and then being ignored for 15 minutes while the server talked to someone seated after me and whom she knew (the bar was not busy). She literally walked past me 6 times to help the guy she sat after me. Menu looks good, but that doesn't fly. I call it the up and through technique.
Great spot to grab a few drinks and chat with friends. There is a long bar with ample opportunities to sneak in behind customers that have finished up their fill of drink. There are also tables set up where you can have more of an intimate setting without feeling like you have to share a bar.
Overall this is a great spot and as a native New Yorker - I have added this to my list of dive spots!
They entertained me very well when I was about to buy a bottle of wine for my grandpa. When I stay there for a couple of hours, honestly, I enjoyed it. Thanks!
