The falafel-crusted artichokes and French toast really blew me away. Super unique and flavors were all on point.

Spent the day exploring Brooklyn and wanted a local spot to eat, came across this restaurant and we were absolutely not disappointed! Super cozy atmosphere, delicious and shareable dishes, and very friendly staff (thanks Margaret!). Highly recommend the fried brussel sprouts, Greek french toast, and falafel crusted artichoke hearts. Amazing Brooklyn must eat!

Got this recommendation from a podcast and it was amazing. Our waiter was super helpful and the bacon wrapped dates cannot be missed. Also had great Halloumi and hummus.

Do it right and do a bunch of plates to share with a group. We didn’t even get an entree except the Pollo Paella to share which was superb.

An excellent late lunch with kids. Heated outdoor area that is open on one side for true ventilated outdoor seating. They had french toast and we had several small plates. Everything was super yummy. Falafel-enclosed artichoke hearts, fried haloumi, feta dip, spicy sizzling calamari. No duds.

I came here for lunch and had the Olea breakfast platter. Came down with food poisoning a few hours later and it was the only thing I ate that day. The outdoor seating is cute and the staff is kind and attentive, but I got really sick. This place also seems to attract a lot of Karens because the other customers were loud and rude

Very nice location in a quiet residential area. Would definitely visit frequently if I lived here. Food is also well-rounded, fresh, and flavorful.

Well.i just moved into the neighborhood (was in LA and other parts of BK). I wandered into olea needing a bite and hopefully a little conversation. OMG.the menu has my name written all over it.lots of interesting, delicious and healthy options.everything i ordered was perfect.the decor is so cute, kinda magical.to top off the awesome menu and decor, the staff is great.i don't know anyone in the neighborhood so i really was hoping to go in and feel welcomed.the bartender, flavio, did just that.he's super friendly and chill af.he was helpful with deciding my bites and the light convo i was looking for.i have also met thomas who is from philly (as am i). He's also awesome.and i've met matthew who is great too! Clearly, this place is a win.i will be going back, often, for sure.can't wait to try more of the menu and hang with my new peeps:)

We went to this restaurant many years ago and then tried to get back in a few times but couldn’t because of the lines whenever we walked by. So we were surprised to see no lines for lunch on a Friday and got a table. Excellent food. Excellent service. The menu is very good and has dishes that you wouldn’t normally find outside of the med. Great spot.

Let’s talk about the good first. The food is amazing the pasta, falafel, clams and especially the Brussels sprouts, good balance of sweet and salty, the edge of the vegetable is fried to perfection, crispy outside soft flavorful inside, the food here is no doubt world class. BUT! The cocktail we had that night was a disaster, I ordered a whiskey based cocktail, it was over powerly strong, my partner had another gin based cocktail it was too strong as well, couldn’t taste the dynamic of different ingredients. We proceed to send the drinks back, and told the server that it is too strong and doesn’t taste right, he told me “ yea it’s whiskey it’s suppose to be strong, as if I don’t know what it was…. And then told my partner that she drank almost half of the drink already, we told him that we can pay for the drink we are just not satisfied with the drink that’s all, and then ordered two glasses of house white wine, and to our surprise it was bad as well… it tasted like water downed white wine, we’ve never experienced anything like it anywhere. But drink aside the food is good. That’s why it loses a star.

No reservations for lunch, just walk in
Cute and cozy spot! Prices are solid. I would definitely come back for dinner… the drinks look great.

I've never posted a review like this before, but had such a positive experience at Olea the other night that I felt compelled to show them a little love. The food was fantastic, but what stood out to me was the professionalism and warmth of the staff. When my friend's phone suddenly died as we stood in line waiting to show our vaccination cards, the host generously offered to charge his phone so he could load up his excelsior pass, a kind gesture made kinder by the fact that the queue behind us was long and the restaurant itself was very busy. Once we were seated and ordering drinks, the bartender made a point of asking me if the dirty martini she'd made me was dirty enough. When I said it could be dirtier, she immediately dirtied it up with a warm smile on her face, showing a care for detail and precision that I greatly admired. But the real kicker came once the food arrived. My friend noticed a "piece of glass" in one of our dishes, which we pointed out to our server. They took it back in an instant, comped the item, and insisted on bringing us a fresh dish. Later, the manager came over to tell us that it wasn't actually a piece of glass - it was a huge piece of rock salt, which he demonstrated by showing off the container of salt they use for that particular dish. And even after all that, they still comped that item and were incredibly sweet about the whole ordeal. Truly can't say enough good things about the wonderful people that power this darling little neighborhood gem!

Went for lunch last Saturday and sat outside with daughter's new puppy. The food was creative and excellent. Not a big brunch person but this "brunch" had much more interesting options than the usual, all with a Mediterranean flavor. We were lucky not to have to wait (it was cold). Our waiter was very helpful/nice and added to the chill environment. If you are in Fort Greene, this is a spot worth trying (if you can get in!).

Everything I’ve gotten I’ve enjoyed. I love their spicy cheese-stuffed peppers, the Romesco, and the Greek French toast are my favorites. It’s worth the sometimes lengthy wait times and there’s almost always room at the bar.
