Fantastic meal at a great marina. Watch the boats come and go while excellent staff brings you delicious food. What could be better?

We had a delightful meal there last night 9/8/23 and We want to compliment all the staff for their excellent service with particular mention to our lovely waitress Amber, she couldn't have been nicer. Also busboy/girl who asked if we had finished rather than just whisking our plates away! Well trained. Food was delicious and perfectly cooked, my husband and I had the fried fish platter and my son the steamed mussels and clams, all great. This was our first visit but not our last and highly recommend to friends for the lovely end to a nice trip to North Fork. Thank you to all.

Went for a quick dinner. I had a dozen oysters on the half shell. Cocktail sauce was lacking that horseradish punch. My drink was good. I also enjoyed the baked clams.

I have to say Great service, Amazing Food, Cold drinks, Never been disappointed and there's a beautiful view of the north shore on the outside deck.love that you have different areas to dine inside as well.

Worst food I ever had on eastern LI The service was terrible - they messed up with my order but at the end I was happy they forgot about my fried calamari because other was terrible. Worst margarita I ever had - seems like they using the cheapest margarita mix they can find. Never coming back

I've been to On The Docks many times. Even going back to when it was called Phil's. Always a nice dinner with a great scenic view of a sunset disappearing below the tree line. Our recent visit to On The Docks was just ok. This happened recently. For me, one way to kill a dining experience is to have your entrees be served while you are still eating your appetizers! We were a party of 8, then all of a sudden the food runners came to the table with our dinner entrees. Why are we scrambling to stack plates, finish up clams, calamari, etc. Yes, On The Docks was busy, but that should not cause the kitchen to push the food out asap. Again, a pet peeve of mine when dining. The appetizer plates should be cleared after the guests are finished, and then dinner will be served when the customers are ready. Not the other way around.

This is one of my favorite restaurants on the North Fork. To start, the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Other waterfront restaurants in the area have sky high prices for the same thing you can get here. The outdoor seating area is extremely enjoyable and the views are beautiful at sunset. The restaurants also owns two boat slips so you are able to take your boat here and park for free. Would definitely add this place to your list of restaurants to hit!

Went to this restaurant today - looked very nice and on the water! However the food or the item I got was nothing to rave about. I ordered a crab cake because I love crab - it’s my favorite food. The crab cake came nicely displayed on my plate but it had zero crab in it. Not one drop of crab to be found and I did search The server said she would go ask her manager what to do. Well nothing was done - didn’t offer to get something else or another “crabless” crab cake for me to try or take the crabless crab cake off my bill. I won’t be going back and I will be telling my friends there are so many great restaurants on the water - don’t bother with this one!

Went to dinner for another special occasion. My wife asked for her steak to be med well and to butter fly her meat. Her steak came out rare, so we did not get to eat together at the same time. There was no attempt by the server to fix this, and I figured something but nothing. The food was good and views good, just disappointed with our server.

Recommend the fish specials on any given day! Arrive early on weekends if you want to dine outside.

Had dinner with another couple. The meat and cheese platter was excellent. I wasn't crazy about the rigatoni orolana that I had. Didn't care fir the sauce. The others in my party liked their meal. I noticed one customer had French onion soup that wasn't on the menu because I would have ordered that if it was. The wait staff is excellent. Atmosphere very nice. Would go again and try something other than pasta.

Our 2nd Anniversary celebration and what a treat. The grilled Octopus for starters followed by the Seafood Tower followed by the 16 oz cowboy rib eye! Mojohito' s A perfect celebration! Delicious. Juliana our server was Perfect! Thank you On The Docks for a Wonderful Anniversary dinner.

Flounder sandwich was delicious it was definitely local fish next come I come back out here I will surely dine in

Not only is the service great and friendly, but the food is phenomenal. The steak with the blue cheese was the best steak I've ever had in my life. The drinks were equally was tasty and that sunset is the icing on top!

Great hideaway location on the water. Mostly comfort food on the extensive menu served generously and at your pace.

Indoor option in the off seaso or when the weather isn't cooperating.

Great waterfront spot in the middle of farm country. You know it's good when you cannot get spot in their enormous parking lot!
