ON TIME DRIVING SCHOOL INC, Yonkers NY

This is a review of Kelvin the instructor. He is an extremely rude person and I would never take a driving lesson with him. I had a lesson scheduled for this morning that I received a reminder for two days prior. 15 minutes after my scheduled time, I call him and he is laughing on the phone saying that the lesson was canceled (even though I received no notice of this whatsoever). When I began to ask why he hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional and I will never be taking a lesson with him.

Jason was the best for a person like me that never drove before once I got in the car he definitely helped me understand the concept of driving the little ones and twos that will lead to everything else falling in place, it was an amazing experience and I passed my road test! Thank you on time driving school!

Call today to buy a package and send all my information never got contacted back so I called again and the lady said she needed 20 minutes to create my student account then she will call me back she never called back that says a lot about this driving school. Definitely won’t be buying no package from here

The receptionist is nasty. And rude. I called to see pricing. I pressed the wrong extension and I thought it was the first nice girl I spoke to and it wasn’t. She responded by saying “idk what you’re talking about? You didn’t talk to me, ANYWAYYSS” and when I ask her did she just say that she confidently said “yes I did” I hung up tried to call for the other girl again and the same rude girl answers and says “it’s still me, the rude girl” and that’s the introduction to your business. I will no longer be taking lessons with this school after that.

I kept trying to schedule classes for more than two weeks and they kept telling me that they were full every single time I called. They tell you to pay for the package you want before giving you any information. They also charge you a fee if you want a refund. What a rip-off

Definitely I recommend this driving school, the packages, the service and the instructors were totally professional, I must say that I passed the road test in my first try.

Took 4 lesson wasn’t bad they taught me how to park and practice on my own with turning the wheel one full turn instead of all the way and passed my test on my 1st try

For the most part I appreciated the the instructors and the simplistic bits of help. Granted I came in with bits of experience but failed my first time around a while back. JC was with me my first couple lessons, then gabby my last few right before test! Both really good in their own way. Gabby had his experience and JC has his. It shows in their teaching. Appointments were always met, and digital comm.was consistent. I came in having my 5 hour already so they added an extra lesson in my package as substitute PASSED this time Lol & Everything went smoothly as far as the any interaction. Thanks guys!

For someone who used to be SO terrified of driving, I passed my road test on the first try yesterday thanks to On Time Driving School! They are very good at what they do. From the instructors, to the teachers of the 5 hour class, and the guy at the Yonkers office who always helped me book and reschedule appointments, I had a good experience with them. I had Mildred as my instructor and she literally helped me with all my driving skills and knew exactly where I should do my road test to pass the first time (Strang Ave!). I highly recommend this driving school if you want to get over your fear of driving and pass the road test the first time. Thank you On Time Driving School!

On Time Driving School helped me gain confidence and skills being new to driving. Willy and Roy taught me the most skills that helped me passed my road test the first time. If you want to learn how to drive my recommendation is to learn with On Time Driving School. Take enough lessons to feel the most comfortable before taking the road test, this is what helped me.

I spent a good amount of time learning the most from Jose, Gabby and Robert, all of which were wonderful to talk to, patient and very knowledgable. I also had the privilege of learning from Jason and Omareo toward the end of my journey to passing my road test.

Learning from all of them, I am now fully confident in my driving abilities - a complete 180 from when I first started taking lessons - and find driving to be very fun. You won’t find such professional, understanding, calm, communicative and personable driving instructors anywhere else.

Aside from occasional long wait times on the phone upwards 20 to 30 minutes and (rarely an) unanswered/unreturned calls, the receptionists are straight forward and accommodating to the best of their abilities. I couldn’t recommend them enough AND at great pricing too!

I had a good experience using on time driving school. The two instructors that helped me pass my road test on the first try was Willy and Gabby. Their techniques and advice on passing the road test was very helpful. I was a nervous driver, I took a my last lesson a few hours before my test and I was so confident and passed. I would recommend this driving school to anyone who is ready to start driving.

I had a car accident back in 2018, I was not the one driving, my mom was. However, I went through a time of fear and trauma when it came to driving. I was afraid of driving and all the stress that came with learning how to drive. I finally found the courage to start learning, and I came across this school. When I say I recommend this school, I say it for you to actually call and book your lessons. I was treated with respect, they respected what I had went through in the past. They helped me overcome my fear, and become what I am today, a confident driver. Still learning but very aware. The day of my road test, I was extremely nervous. I didn't feel ready enough, and the guy who took me (Jose) made me feel prepared. Later that day after the long talks of motivation, I found out that I had past my road test, on the first try. One of the best days of my life.

I would definitely recommend anyone to take their lessons here. I passed on my first try and my Instructor Joseph Cuevas was the best instructor I had. I was comfortable being behind the wheel and I couldn’t have done it without him.
