We first learned of One Love when we adopted a kitten from Sean Casey Animal Rescue many years ago, because several rounds of shots were included in the adoption fee.
Our most recently adopted cat was outdoors for 5 years, and is still a bit nervous when touched. But he has been "burrito-ed" and won over by the One Love staff on each of his 3 visits so far:)
The staff here seem more dedicated to animals [rather than to profits] compared to my local neighborhood vet.

We have been going to One Love for 16 years and our dog passed away last year. We now have a new dog and just started taking him to One Live. Highly recommend them! So nice and knowledgeable and I can actually get in quickly if my dog is having a problem. I feel that my dog is in great hands and the prices are fair. Definitely better than the neighborhood options!

I've used One Love Animal Hospital for both of my dogs for years. They always provide excellent care and answered any and all concerns I have for my pets. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for my pets care.

Kind, communicative and lovely doctors and staff. Whenever we come in, we get a call the next day to check on Loulou. Absolutely love One Love.

Our cat was having severe dental problems and suffering terribly and we couldn’t find a place that would schedule dental surgery for him in less than 2 months. We called all over town. The caring folks at One Love took him in and arranged a surgery for him in a few days. We’re so relieved! They were all so sweet. Plus their prices were lower than most other places where we tried to get him seen. This will be our go-to animal hospital from now on!

I adopted from Best Friends Shelter a week ago and brought my sweet kitty here for her first vet visit on referral & voucher from the shelter. We had such a lovely experience, our vet, Dr. Kamila was so kind & gentle. She gave me some helpful easy tips and suggestions to maintain the health of my FIV+ kitty including diet and dental care. She was also transparent about the tests that wouldn't be included in the voucher allowing me to decide the course of action. Everyone from the front desk, to the techs, to the Dr.herself were lovely. Grateful to have a trustworthy place to bring my kitty to for the rest of her life! Thank you!

The staff are all professional however you immediately feel relaxed and they somehow managed to make this nervous mom feel as if I brought my fur baby to the best place possible. They actually make followup calls! Loved my experience and would not consider going anywhere else from now on even though it is quite a journey for me to get there. Excellent service.

I just tried to make an appointment here. They agreed to see me the next day which was great but immediately wanted my card information and said I'd be charged $108.95 and if I'd cancel I'd still be card the same amount.lol. That tells a lot about this place.

One love animal hospital is definitely a gem! They were able to get me in the schedule within a day which was amazing, check in was so easy and quick, the entire staff was nice, there was barely a wait time once checked in and I really loved how gentle & patient Dr Olivia G.was with my timid little pooch. And the best part — this office saved me $900 <3

I decided to give this practice another chance after a long hiatus, mostly because we needed x-rays and our current practice doesn’t do them. We were initially pleased with the vet we saw, who seemed knowledgeable and immediately recognized osteosarcoma on our dog’s x-rays. $1,000 and several days later we were able to start the process of scheduling surgery consult (One Love referred us elsewhere). We were told by surgeon that One Love should continue to provide his meds after surgery. A week after amputation, our dog seems to still be in considerable pain, and we are completely unable to fill his medication. We were told multiple conflicting things, given the wrong amount of medication (3.5 days as opposed to 2 weeks), unable to speak to ANY vet for 2 days, and then finally told that he shouldn’t need the meds at all (not what we were told a few days earlier). We’re so frustrated by this lack of compassion, communication, and professionalism in this difficult time.

These people are now charging just to make an appointment. Over $100 to make an appointment, front desk is rude and unprofessional. Worse place to take ur pet.

I cannot thank the staff at the Atlantic Ave.location enough. My son found a stray kitten much too young to be on her own. I was coming to visit from Delaware and we were able to get a vet appointment for that day. A normally 3 hour drive took almost 5! We called and told then how desperately this little baby needed to be seen. Knowing we would be late we were in a panic. We made it there and surely messed up their other scheduled appointments. Our new furbaby got checked out, put on some medicine, and given a good outlook for a healthy life. We are so grateful. Thank you for being loving and understanding. I truly believe that little 8 oz baby wouldn't have made it another night without being rescued by my son and given medical attention from One Love Animal Hospital. ️

My cats have been getting checkups at this animal hospital for years. This past year I could tell something was wrong with one of my cats. She went for a checkup less than a year ago, and the doctors brushed off our concerns. They said it might be a food allergy and they did not even do her blood work. We took her in last week for an emergency checkup because she has been losing a lot of weight. They almost sent us home again with no answers, but they finally did an ultrasound. We called to follow up about the report this morning since they couldn't bother to contact us sooner to give our cat her death sentence. I am leaving home next week for a while, and it won't be easy coping with the fact that my best friend might not be around when I get back. I am absolutely heartbroken, and I am so angry that if the veterinarians at this animal hospital took the time to listen to us sooner, maybe this situation would have turned out differently. Did they not do more for her out of laziness or incompetence? She did not deserve this, and I cannot help but feel guilty for trusting this hospital with her life. If you love your pet, please bring them to a different vet. Hopefully, they will have more compassion for your best friend than the ones at One Love Animal Hospital.

Have been bringing my cats for 3 years now. The staff has always been amazing and caring. They actually take the time to speak to me about my pet. People complain about prices sometimes, but the service they provide makes you feel like a VIP. You get the best medicine with these Vets. Recommended %100

I love One Love. Laurel and Joselyn are just delightful and always answer all my questions. I loved all the past doctors and recently got my dog Benny seen by Dr. K, one of the new doctors. I was so impressed by how knowledgeable she is. Benny is always excited to go inside with the nurses because they treat him so well and always give him treats! Very nice people.

Our two cats have been going to this location for the past 4-5 years.today when my cat had not been eating for 2 day and has been throwing up green vile needed to be seen and was given an appt at 3: 00- I emailed them and told them I would not be able to get there until after 3: 15 -they emailed back and said to come at 3: 15- we arrived at 3: 20 but were told by the nurse and manager Ozieo that we were 1/2 hr late and they couldn't take us. My cat was taken in and given back to us- when I asked to have the doctor call us back he said that we should go to the hospital and that he will not give her that message to call me back unless I have an appt. I wanted to talk to her first before I had to rush him to the hospital to see if this is what I need to do or make an appt, but they were very rude to me and would not let us and would not send their transcripts to us to move them to another place- they are very rude and un professional since they have changed management and doctors

Our regular checkup was in March 2021. This was still during the covid pandemic. We arrived a bit late to our appointment, and as we entered we were told that we needed to wait outside due to the pandemic, and call to notify our arrival. The building is located on Atlantic Ave, so there's a lot of traffic noise. I don't think our cat really liked this. Then, a staff member came out and took our cat, and we were filled out a form that repeated identical information to what we were asked on the phone when booking our appointment. Then we were told that our cat would be brought out when the appointment was finished. About 10 or so minutes later, we were called. Due to the street noise, it was hard to hear what the person on the other end was saying, but they told us our cat was over weight, and we should control her diet more, by restricting her feeding, or by going to the pet store and asking what food we should give her. I found this recommendation very unhelpful since we were already feeding her a low amount, and the person on the phone didn't seem interested in asking about that.

The next day, we did receive a kind follow up call because our cat had received a vaccine, and they were checking up on how she was doing. I asked again about what we should do about her weight, since her caloric intake was so low, and later that day, I was emailed an osu website, that was informative, but not necessarily specific to our situation.

Overall, I understand that precautions are required during the pandemic, but I think we should have been informed beforehand that we would not be allowed to accompany our cat during the visit, and that when we arrived we would have to wait on a busy street. I think we should have had the option to decide if we were okay with that prior to arriving for our appointment. We were also asked to answer the same questions that we had answered when booking the appointment. Additionally, the advice to monitor our cats weight, although appreciated, would have been more helpful if we were actually asked about what we were already doing, and given specific advice to our situation, rather than recommending that we ask the pet store what food was good for our cat.

The employees that we did talk to seemed professional, and I hope they do well during the tail end of this pandemic. We do not plan on returning due to our generally neutral experience.

Edit: also, we were told our cats nails were cut during the visit, but they didn't seem to be. If they had been cut to such a minor degree that it was not noticeable, then it's probably not worth mentioning that it was a free service on the bill.

One time I found a stray, abandoned in its crate on the corner of Livingston and Bond. I brought it here and they told me they would call the police on me if I brought it in. These people are trash. I did call the police and they picked up the dog.
