12This was one of the few NY Thruway rest stops that are currently open. There is a reconstruction project going on that has multiple rest areas closed all at the same time! We saw only one that was closed that had port-a-potties and gas available. Other stops were barricaded. This one will be and should be upgraded too.
No body pay attention on the pizza place. I Talk to the guys in Mc Donalds they dont have customers and still They just mess around talking and They dont guve me no Service at all. Not a good place
Most disgusting and dirty restrooms I've ever seen. No Tim Hortons like the web states. This one gets more use because it's the last stop for 73 miles due to closing for renovations at other rest stops
It was clean and had parking. Had too many clueless New yorkers walking about.full of them face masks. Funny they want to travel and go in the most public place like a rest area but they gotta put a mask on. Just shows the true sheeple of America
Half the restrooms was clean the other half dirty. Only 2 food places open. Drinks were highly priced
Absolutely disgusting! No toilet paper in any stall and no paper towel. Restroooms were a mess with toilet paper all over the floor and feminine sanitary products on top of the trash cans because they were so full! Had to ask the McDonald's employee for napkins to go pee and she got an attitude and rolled her eyes! After traveling so long and needing to use the restroom being a female that was very unpleasant and unsanitary!
Restrooms were disgusting. 9/25 at 1pm looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Unacceptable especially during a pandemic.
Two star for the restrooms, other than that a ripoff place, the paninis are tiny so technically they charge $2 per bite! And 33oz of water 4$ like its not enough we pay the tolls! Shameless New York
It was open. But OMG bathrooms had 3" of dust on the stalls. It was filthy, dirty sinks no soap dirty hand dryers. Gross.
Everything was great until a strange man with glasses and a badge came in the WOMENS restroom and started taking pictures of the bathroom and then me and my daughter. Very creepy and my daughter was terrified.
Closing at end of July 2021 for a rebuild. Keep parking available for truckers please. Rebuild quickly for food to be available
I used the restroom and saw a man relieving himself with a good 3-4 feet between him and the urinal, and the flag was at full staff. This rest area gets five stars for the sheer technical bravado and laserlike precision of that motorist's maneuver.
