Ooki Sushi reviews
19First-rate vibes and super welcoming service. The meals were fresh and enchanting. Will clearly recommend this restaurant to my friends. Affordable prices and big portions. Keep it up.
Really enjoyed the French martini and the rolls were delicious. Our impromptu walk around the area to find a casual spot to grab dinner turned into a wonderful romantic date night. Staff are tremendous, we’ll be back!
I certainly liked their food and customer service, great area nearby to my residence. The staff members are always kind. Will come visit again.
It was SO amazing, the people were SO nice, and I ate SO well I didn’t even have room for desert! DEFINITELY recommend.
The best thing about this place is thier customer service, always friendly and always good food.
Great food. Usually you can get a table waiting. Very nice playlist and good ambiance.service needs improvement but you can always ask for Jessica and have a smooth and goosd service.
Was looking for a spot to eat near enough to the Met. Love sushi and it's really easy to find a bad spot here in NYC. However, this is not one of the bad ones. After a family member suggested the place, I looked at the reviews. Mixed but got the impression that perhaps I wouldn't like the place but gave it a shot anyways. Not disappointed in the least bit. For all the negative reviews there are about this place, ignore them. Take them with a grain of salt. Ambiance was typical modern, east side upper Manhattan. Sushi was fresh. Service on point and portions good. Great time was had and I recommend this place.
I gave two stars only for exceptional sushi. The servers were not professional at all. One female server behaved nice only when she brought me the check. She did not bring me a glass of water for my about an hour stay. Though I liked the food here very unlikely to come back due to poor service.
The sushi was good but the service was not good at all. The waitress had the balls to come up to our table as we were leaving to comment on her tip and then wait while me and a friend discuss the matter. It was totally unprofessional.
The food is consistently well prepared and flavorful, cashiers gives awesome customer service. I liked how clean it is and vibes. Would recommend to others.
Ooki Sushi is the best sushi on the upper east side because they have a peanut avocado roll that is scrumptious! Their sweetheart roll and salmon roll are also really good. The price is right and delivery is fast and good.
This place constantly delivers. They have fantastic dishes for convenient prices, there are no long waits even when the place is packed.
The nori used to make the sushi was a tad to hard & I found some lipstick on my glass
But they do have a wide range of sushi selection to choose from
The staff and the ambience was good. It was just the food that was bad. My friend and I shared veggie tempura and just got a stomach ache after. Not sure what happened, but I was expecting them to be better considering their staff was nice.
Really love the atmosphere here and their plating is always beautiful. Effort is put into every dish. If you are a fan of spicy salmon rls, Ooki Sushi has my favorite spicy salmon in NYC.
The quality of the sushi is exceptional. I had the yellowtail don. The atmosphere is trendy. The servers have poor manners and would wouldn't wait for me to finish eating. They interrupted me 3 times to pay for the check.
First time here. I had the sweetheart and ooki rolls, both of which were good. Pretty good variety of rolls. Staff was friendly, quick to come by and take orders. My only complaint was that I had to ask for more water and it took a good 5+ minutes to get it. Nice atmosphere.
Awful sushi, not nice customer service
Hard to chew seaweed, fish taste metallic
Not accommodating to specific orders
Staff acts like they are doing you a favor
Dont eat here if you can avoid, much better place on 82nd and 2nd
Awful
