Would be nice if they offer more seats close to the splash pad to sit well your child plays with shade and maybe make sure water comes out of everything or add more

I see a lot of people walking, walking with dogs. Clean well maintained, doggie droppings bag stations. Splash pad, basketball courts, volleyball, play ground, tennis courts, plenty of picnic shelters, They close the horseshoe shaped road for the winter, but you can still park and walk the road.

Nice hot day to get the baby out to cool off. Splash pad was clean.
A good amount of parents with their littles to play with one another.

A great park with a beautiful splash pad. Picnic tables to eat at. And a decent playground for the kids. My 5 year old son loves it here.

Nice little park. Family use park for functions & activities. I went to fish & was impressed with the grounds. Many use the park for walking dogs. Caught a small largemouth bass & missed another larger fish. A lot of carp can be caught there easily. Extra bonus is that they stock with trout in April. Put & take system.

Great park. For our event there was a minor parking issue, with not quite enough area reserved to be easy and convenient.

Anyone know if the pond is still stocked with trout this year? And if we catch a bass here can we keep it?

Hats off to the grounds crew that worked hard since it was flooded out. Most areas look normal. Looking forward to spring. Will still walk there year round d when open

Historic park in Niagara County. Used to be a zoo decades ago. Now, it is a park with a large pond, an array of picnic pavilions, and just a few bathrooms.
There is a one-way gravel driveway loop, with speed bumps, which lead from entry to exit.
Many people had canopy tents set up around their pavilion either for more protection from sun and precip, or canopies to separate their event activities.
Benches and fishing can be seen at the pond. Parking on grass.
With recent heavy rains and flooding, park gate was closed for safety.

The only reason I gave 3 stars is because we paid to be there until 9pm and they locked down the bathrooms at 7: 45.

This is a tremendous place for young children for the splashpad and playground. The water for fishing is tremendous for everyone.

Definitely worthwhile!

Great splash pad. Tons of parking. Numerous BBQ grills and picnic tables, pavilions, shade trees. Kids love the playgrounds. Plenty of fields (plain grass and sports) and a large pond for fishing. Tennis courts.

Few minor downsides. Entrance could use a light on Niagara Falls Blvd. Most of the road is a one way loop, the splash pad has a few very slippery spots that many kids and adults seem to hit. There are water retaining "ditches" cutting the central park area into sections. They make a yucky border to get splash pad access, with no real bridges across. Find a dry spot or walk/drive all the way around. They also breed bugs and have a smell. Lastly, the bees. I really think there are just a lot of bees everywhere this year, but there were many people having a hard time with the number of bees here. Can't expect to not see bees at a park, just bee aware, lol!

Lovely little nature spot tucked away. There is a splash pad, fishing (that you do NOT require a fishing license to fish here). A few different small Play grounds or play area. You can grill here. There are handicap bathrooms.

Fun place for kids. Several playgrounds, splashpad. Bathrooms are not very clean. Picnic areas. Busy in the afternoon and weekends.
