My Optimum was ok, but there's a lot of thieves harassing my elderly mom, and stealing or switching stuff while your or somebody home sleep, no matter if it's day time or night, My tent, Sony DVD player, ect vandalized and maybe my optimum WiFi password been given out, I can't even get on there's website & app to check

The store staff in Lindenhurst were very nice and friendly. The people on the phone when you cancel are horrible and use predatory business practices. Besides the fiber installers leaving plastic and zip ties in my yard for my dogs to eat and my neighbor having to call the police on them, they kept us on the phone for an hour and gave us a hard time cancelling.

Customer service was the worst, Optimum sent me to the store to trade in my modem; where they tried to sell me every other plan they had rather than trading in my modem. Insulting and upsetting to say the least.

The place is clean, the help is professional, but the service sucks, although the employees are nice and attempt to be helpful, nothing ever gets resolved, I had the same reoccurring problems for over a year, always replacing modem and what not, have a reoccurring charge on my bill for over a year, keep on getting credit for it, but they keep on charging me for the same thing so I have to keep on calling. I had to go to the store to replace the modem.again, and I figured that maybe in person they would be able to remove the charge, they told me to call. WTH. Time to look into Verizon I think

Absolute worst store and customer service experience I have experienced and this is part of the reason we disconnected our services with optimum. Everyone tells you a different story, and none of them know what the hell is going on.
4 employees there, 1 employee is helping 2 employees and I waited 20 minutes to return 2 items.
In addition to all this, I cannot even access my account online but optimum sends me an email saying my bill is ready and to log into my account so I can see my bill.
Then I tried to call their customer service number multiple times and since my phone number is linked to an account that has been deactivated, it would not allow me to speak to a customer service representative. I had to call again, select the option that I wanted to install new services, spoke to a saleswoman who was very nice and understanding and she transferred me to the billing department. Even she was surprised to hear that I couldn’t connect with someone since my phone is associated with an account that was called. This is horrific customer service, they all lie, don’t know how anything works and they should be out of business.

Completely exaggerated prices, horrible customer service, since their representatives are in different countries, which they can pay cheaper salaries, people who do not understand the language very well don't have enough information about the accounts in general very bad bad. I am quitting to cablevision.

Goodbye and good riddance Optimum. I had to wait an hour to give back equipment. Frustrating to the end dealing with this company who would not help lower my bill but offered me 3 FREE months so I would not cancel, and then called me to get me to come back and offered me more free stuff. NO thank you! I am very happy with my Verizon internet service and streaming services, spending 1/5th of what Optimum charged. AND during Covid they were the only company who turned people's service off for non payment UNTIL the government forced them to reduce those who could not pay to basic service and that was in 2021. The only thing some folks had during covid was TV and their excuse was they are not a utility. The day I was there, 75% of the line was returning equipment and turning off service.

Prices are extremely high for their service. Did not have a working cable box for six months, still had to pay for the unservicable box. Had technicians come to my house various times. To try to get a credit for six months called Optimum various times, left on hold for more than an hour until they hung up on me, called back then they couldn't hear me all of a sudden, went to an Optimum Store and they can't do anything. Optimum gives poor customer service.

Got there as soon as they opened. 4 customers ahead of me but was out in bout 10 min.friendly, efficient staff.would've gave 5 stars but I was only exchanging boxes.pretty simple stuff

Canceled and returned the equipment and kindly said this is because of your customer service I Canceled and immediately got nasty. They need to remember they are not the only game in town.
Horrible customer service experience all around stay away from these guys.

Bad, bad experience with Optimum.when you are going to get the service, just one person can do everything, but when you are going to cancel, not even 6 of them has the power to do it.so go from one petson to another.
Do yourself a favor, do not go with Optimum, better go with Verizon, yes more money but much less hassle.

This company a joke! I went to return cable boxes on my lunch hour. There is a 20-30 minute wait. I couldn’t do it on my lunch hour. I shouldn’t have to take a day off or wait long to just drop off cable boxes. This company is ridiculous!

I recommend seeing her She’s very knowledgeable She runs that location like a top I was in there on a Saturday morning She got everyone cleared out within 5 minutes There had to be 8 people ahead of me Thank You Meredith

If I could give them negative stars I would. I haven't had internet for a week. We had a service person come on day 2, he said it would be fixed within 24 hours. 24 hours later, to no surprise, no one showed up and nothing was fixed. Called again, told us the tech should've said 24-48 hours. Today there were 2 people on the pole outside working on it. 4 hours later they left and I still don't have internet.
People in my house work from home and have missed DAYS of work because of optimum incompetence.

The security are very profetional help alot whit good info the parking is a nighmear and some worker are to slow inse take more tume than normal
