I would give 0 stars if possible. These people are so unprofessional from the beginning (not arranging a nurse for IV administration on time, I have to hunt one down), and then price gouge. $100 for a dozen alcohol wipes that was not asked for? Watch them send a bill for just that. What a scam!

Terrible communication. I asked for an evening nurse and they gave me an afternoon nurse that coudn´t come at the time at was home. They sent me a message to tell me she would not come at 6, after they are closed, so I couldn´t return the call. They finally told me today they would send a nurse this evening but no one has come. I did advise them that my dressing was coming off.so it seems they don´t care too much. They are supposed to follow up maximum a week after I left the hospital, had it has been already 8 days. Tomorrow it will be 9.

Their patient or coatumer service is beyond horrible! I have to chase them down as to when they will deliver my sons milk and feeding supplies! We always ends up having to ration his milk and reuse the feeding bags! Their numbers doesnt work! It always rings but nobody answers your call! You cant even leave a message!

Danny Boyd, infusion patient.
The Option care group are an extremely professional team, my nurse Brianna was very kind, took her time to explain everything I needed to know, I felt very comfortable, well informed and cared for, in my opinion, option care is one great group of people, have no doubt your health and safety are their #1 concern, very happy to recommend them to family and friends.and Brianna was the main reason

Extremely unprofessional, she was yelling at my mother who is the patient, and was telling her “if you don’t listen to me I won’t call you and help you” and my mother was just asking a question, then she told me don’t speak in a different language and don’t talk too loud when I was speaking in a normal tone, she seems Russian toned and has a thick accent and just yells and says “I don’t care, I don’t care often” I also informed her that patient care is the most important in healthcare and she told me I should try doing the job myself, extremely unprofessional.

My mother had recently completed a 2-week medication routine at home, and we're pleased to state that the whole experience has been great. Everything thankfully went well, from the delivery of the medication to the education/in-home training of treatment, down to the final steps and follow-up from all the staff that were involved.

Thank you!

Sometimes you read negative reviews and it’s easy to think, “Well, the folks that DO have good experiences aren’t all writing reviews, so I’m probably reading about some extreme cases that happened to just a few upset people. ”

Not the case with Optioncare. Every single negative review here perfectly describes my experiences with them as well.

Due to limitations with my insurance coverage, I’ve had to work with them every 8 weeks since 2016. In the ~36 infusions I’ve had with them, they never had their act together. I started documenting the process myself and setting my own reminders to get my medication, supplies, and nurses scheduled. Because nothing would get done otherwise.

If you have the flexibility to manage infusions or home care with any other company, I would strongly encourage you to do so.

(Not that this actually matters much, since it was often handled by a separate nursing agency and not Optioncare, but I will say that at least I’ve had the privilege to be treated by some of the best nurses during these 6 years.)

One star is even high for this place.
They should be fined and put out of business. Good luck trying to speak with a manager. On hold for at least 30-45 min before someone answers, Than when they do answer send you to a disconnected Verizon wireless number. Two weeks trying to schedule a delivery for formula.
I will follow up with NYS regarding their lack of care for customers who depend on feeds to survive & they don't care or assist with sending food.

Terrible customer service, no coordination between departments whatsoever. God forbid you have to transfer your information from one Option Care facility to another. The people working here are clueless and don’t care about patients. I was just in call loop for about 3 hours just trying to schedule a delivery for my medicine a process that would take less than 1-2 days at their Missouri location that’s now taking over THREE WEEKS for here. I’m now overdue for my infusion and am already feeling the effects physically from not receiving my medicine on time. Option Care really needs to step in and handle their Intakes department because someone over there clearly isn’t reading their emails. I don’t know why Option Care doesn’t have a simplified system or protocol for patients when they’re traveling out of state and making sure they receive their medicine or have a contacts list of all the other Option Care facilities in other states?
