Optum Urgent Care - Glen Oaks, Queens NY

Walked in and was treated like I was a long time patient. Professional and courteous staff / Nurses / Dr. Only issue was using Zoom for results. Maybe a staff to talk older patients through using it would help.

On 1-6-2021, went for my 2cnd visit for c19 test. Staff helped with several issues I had with logging in the system and my ins. Card. Linda was great in helping me as was her assistant. Dr.and nurse made me feel like a person rather than a number. I decided right then to have Pro Health as my P. C. Thanks to all at Pro Health!

Linda, the Office Manager, is AMAZING; very professional, quite knowledgeable and totally on top of her game. She not only manages to make everything go expeditiously/smoothly at ProHEALTH Urgent Care, but actually took a hands-on approach by following my case from her facility, right on through ProHEALTH Radiology, which was located at another facility, and then onto The ER at North Shore University Hospital. Linda made things happen, even when other offices were confronted by roadblocks. Linda bulldozed through all of them, and successfully garnered the care/tests that I desperately needed. She truly went above and beyond her duties to make things happen!

Dr. Perrotta was very helpful and most informative. He sent me out for all the proper testing; kept my Primary in the loop and then made his diagnosis. Look, let’s be frank, I really needed these people in an emergency situation.and their stellar characters; ultimate professionalism; combined knowledge; true kindness and total dedication to the well-being of their patients truly shined through in my case. They helped me tremendously. I can’t say enough good things about this practice and the astute care that you are provided here. I highly recommend Linda; Dr. Perrotta and ProHEALTH on Union Turnpike in Glen Oaks, NY. I’m glad that I made the right choice in coming to this location.it made all the difference in the World. The doctors were very helpful to my 3 boys and I the front office staff was amazing to all of us especially Linda who prepared the documents that I needed for my job. She is the best and she deserves a raise.

Self Registration took me a little time, nurse called me before I was done. Took Molecular (PCR) Test for travel and got results in 20 minutes. Received a Certified Stamped letter, which I was able to upload when I completed my Travel Declaration Form. 24 hrs later my friends, who went somewhere else, are still waiting for theirs.

My visit was quick. I didn't have to wait long since it was almost time for the office to close. I would recommend here.

I had a scheduled appointment but had to wait in my car for 25 minutes. Once inside, they took me immediately. Very professional service

I made my appointments online and I was able
to fill out all paperwork beforehand. The staff was pleasant and the whole family was seen quickly. I had a good experience here.

Dr Kahn and entire staff were professional, thorough and courteous! The office was clean and welcoming but most importantly convenient and accommodating! Short wait time and dealt with an array of issues.
I would absolutely go back again and i would absolutely recommend this office to my family and others. 5 stars 4 sure!

Previous visits exceeded my expectation but today's experience was not good. I had a 1: 00 appointment checked in at 12: 15 and was forgotten until I asked. When I went to check I was asked if I got a call that was at 2: 00 then they checked and let in to be seen. This visit was disappointing.

Staff was friendly and professional. The Doctor was also friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He had a great sense of humor as well, making it a good experience for me.

Urgent care center that does not treat you with urgency. Don't belive all the signs outside, its just to attract customers. Also be careful on their charges, they will code differently to overcharge your visit and not correctly charge according to your diagnosis or treatment. Just wondering how many people they tricked for overpayment! Just a shame fraud urgent care office's like this still exists!

The nurses, doctor and receptionists could not have been nicer or more helpful. Waited only a short time to be seen with my 7 y/o son. I would highly recommend visiting this place for any ailment.

I went into the office to ask if the Covid testing was done here. They said yes sign in which I did. I wasn't seen until 2 1/2 hours later. People that had appointments went before. It is understandable but they should say because you're walking and others with appointments will be seen before that the wait will be long. Lack of communication and customer service.

Staff is Respectful, courteous, reliable very friendly building is clean. Just a friendly reminder to keep the sanitizer station fill.

The wait time was short and the doctor was skilled.
My only negative was CVS charged me for my antibiotic eye drops (I have Medicare and GHI) because they didn’t recognize the doctor when they called it in.

Wasn’t feeling well and decided to go to ProHealth Urgent Care. There was no wait, clean facility, friendly staff and Dr Perrotta was very good. He was thorough and quick to diagnose my symptoms. So happy it’s so close to home. Most definitely would go back if necessary!

I was processed quickly and seen by a doctor about 15 minutes after I arrived. Everyone was friendly and efficient. The intake nurse and the doctor were wonderful.

Excellent facility. Well organized and the staff is first rate. Easy registration procedure particularly if you have been there before.

Staff was very pleasant, the doctors are meticulous, the place is clean and I won’t say what day I went but it wasn’t crowded because they took care of all 6 people ahead of me in ample time. I took both my sons and I didn’t have much tome to be fooling around so I’m very grateful they honored my time and my request.

Rude receptionists who avoid answering questions directly. When asked how long the wait would be I was told I was 3rd in line, and it should not be long. After 30 minutes of waiting and no one in the waiting room being brought in, I asked how many rooms were opened that no patients had been seen since I arrived. At this point the receptionist fired back with a “I didnt lie, I said you were third in line”. Is it too much to ask for an employee to be aware of whats going on, past signing in patients? Terrible customer service.
