Optum Urgent Care - Yorkville, New York NY

After having a terrible experience at MedRite, I went to Optimum and I am so happy I did. The entire staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Sixsmith was thorough and seemed to genuinely care. I was seen immediately and taken care of. They even took extra measures to make sure I was 100% ok. I have to go back to get staples removed, but I really trust them and if ever anything else arises, I will make them my go-to for urgent care.

This place is horrible every time I take my child there they do nothing to help they run my insurance card and tell me to go see my primary doctor don't every go here they are horrible you could be sick as a dog and they won't do anything for you

The nurses and doctors were great. We came NY for a short family vacation, my little 2 year old girl was vomiting, and they took care of her with their best knowledge and treatment.

Horrible, dismissive service. Came in for small ear ache. Doctor Shwartz saw no infection and did not listen to my complaints of pain. She irrigated my ear, causing something to happen. I am now in much, much worse pain than before, cannot eat or drink or sleep, and am currently on my way to the ER for additional help. The front staff itself is lovely, the actual care service not at all. If you are thinking about coming here I strongly suggest finding another place.

THE best Healthcare for kids and Adults. Diane Sixsmith is the best, very attentive, treating her patients with kindness and understanding. I will keep coming back for my healthcare needs. Everybody is very nice and attentive, even the Receptionist. Thank you all for your great service.

I went today with my 16 months old as she fell and hit her head, got a big bump on her head. One she was the only kid there, rest are adults, two: they kept us waiting far too long, parents know what I mean, three: they took a walk in that came after us, yah as if waiting that long with a toddler isn't painful enough.
Four: When we finally went in, the person taking vitals was very impatient with my toddler, of course my baby was crying, the medical assistant or whoever she is, rolled her eyes, then was like OK forget it, and actually walked out of the room, I can tell she was gonna just keep us there waiting, and oh, while my baby was crying another annoyed technician or assistant came over to close the door with "oh God that's too loud" kind of look, how they call them selves Pediatric Urgent Care is beyond me. Finally I came out asking if there's a doctor ever coming, some man (probably a physician Assistant, annoyingly with an attitude telling me we only have one provider as if that's my fault. Finally I told them I don't need this, a hospital would have taken us sooner and walked out. This place is a joke.

Went there in Dec 2022, the staff has changed and they are very very nice.
