So far it’s been great, I’ll put in the 5th star after I pick up my new prescription!
Dr. Cohan has all the latest technology to optimize corrective vission.
Brian works professionally and accurately setting up eyewear frames.
I would highly recommend to everyone

Always a pleasure. The optometrist is very thorough, gives an excellent examination. Very soothing manner.
The staff is also great. Very helpful.
My husband and I have gone here for years.
Highly recommend.

Awesome optical store, you can have your eyes check…and the employees are very helpful. They let you know about coupons that’ll help you save money, and let you take your time choosing for new eyeglasses

I feel good about the exam I had. New equipment made it less uncomfortable. My questions were answered to my satisfaction by the doc. An older pair of glasses were repaired for me too. I'm very happy to have selected Eye Supply of Port Jefferson.

I have been using Optyx for a number of years now, I highly recommend them. The are awesome to work with, they are super sweet, very genuine, all the staff are very personable. They have a customer for life.

Doing business at Eye Supply is always a good experience. Dr. Cohen provides a very thorough exam and patiently answers any questions I have. The staff is friendly and helpful, there is a vast array of frames to choose from, and the surroundings are beautiful. What’s not to like?

Excellent customer care!
I was given a very comprehensive eye exam by the doctor. The staff was very helpful to get me in for the exam quickly and helped me find glasses that was what I needed at an affordable price. I would highly recommend OPTYX Eye Supply in Port Jefferson.

I was visiting from out of town and misplaced my last pair of contacts. Carol and Brian came to the rescue and were able to give me a pair so I wouldn't have to wear glasses the entire weekend! Great customer service and experience!

My wife and I have been using OPTYX/EyeSupply for over 15 years. I went in this morning with a problem, I broke an earpiece, and was surprised to find out that the store was under new ownership. As with many, COVID-19 has put our lives on pause.

I saw Brian, Elise, and Carol and felt at home.
My panic over breaking my glasses was subsiding. Brian calmly looked at the glasses and said that he thought he might have a replacement earpiece or could send for one. The three of them scoured the store looking for a replacement.

I was astonished by their care in helping a customer. When the earpiece in a matching frame was found, Brian was upset that the match was “close” but not exact. So, he replaced both earpieces to keep the glasses perfect.

This kind of caring to satisfy and keep a customer is unusual and refreshing. I expect it from family, but not strangers. They fixed my glasses, calmed me, and didn’t even charge me anything. My own wife of over 50 years wouldn’t have done this unless a Tiffany’s little blue box was involved.

I will always be a customer of OPTYX because of these three.

My mother went in to get glasses and was treated differently because she was using her insurance rather than out of pocket money for glasses. Elise provided meager customer service on her first visit and my mother didn’t say anything. When my mother went to pick up her glasses on the second visit she observed Elise going above and beyond for a woman who wasn’t using her insurance. At the end of the day everyone should be treated equally. My mother did love the doctor there but they won’t be using them again because of Elise.

Great experience, friendly staff Carol, Elyse and Brian are a pleasure. I like that the office is technically automated. This is a plus for me. My doctor is patient and kind and makes sure your eyes are top notch priority. All and all you will have a good experience at Eye Supply Port Jeff.

I love Eye Supply in PJ! The staff is so friendly and helpful- especially Carol! I order my contacts and they come the next day. The prices are always the best by far. Dr. Cohen is great- always provides thorough eye exam.

Terrible experience overall. The Doctor was great. The rest of the staff were full of lies. They misapplied my union voucher, purposely did not show me or offer me the free frames they were supposed to have for union members. I repeatedly told them that I wanted the cheapest frames that I could get. I wear contacts. They oversold me. Called them out on it they told me to come in and choose cheaper frames. I did. They NEVER REFUNDED THE DIFFERENCE! I noticed the other day that they gave me the WRONG PERSCRIPTION/glass IN THE LEFT EYE. Probably out of spite. Horrible owner.

Snooty north shore type of attitude, acted indignant when I was adamant about not buying any extras, I explained to them I was a cancer survivor and just got back to work, but didn't care. The frames were sub par to say the least they lasted only three months before they snapped in half like balsa wood. They didn't even give me a polishing cloth. I'm using Cohen's in the Smithhaven Mall this year and I'm not broke.

Had a very nice experience today. Stopped into Eye Supply to have one of my glasses arm screws tightened (which I bought from Eye Supply). I brought along my spare pair and asked if they would replace a missing screw. Well the kind gentleman repaired both glasses and also replaced the damaged/missing arm ears on my spare set. My local Miller place doctors office said they no longer made them but obviously that wasn't the case. He said everything was no charge. I attempted to tip him but he adamantly refused. Very nice treatment, I will continue to use this office for my eye care needs. Thank you!
