Oral & Implant Surgery reviews
3Went for a consultation appointment for tooth extraction and implant. They didn’t do much an oral examination but they charged me for an “extensive oral evaluation” which costs $190. I’ve had experiences with number of dentists/periodontists/orthodontists just within the last couple of months in two different states due to a recent move. I can say with certainty that this so called ‘extensive’ evaluation was not much of an evaluation at all. I wouldn’t be complaining if they did actually do a comprehensive examination as they charged me for but that’s not the case. The doctor didn’t even do a gum measurement despite the situation that I’ll have multiple teeth extraction and implant going forward (with them) which will cost $10k+. I truly don’t understand why Dr. Farr (which I waited a couple more weeks to secure an appointment with because of his good review online) and his staff would do this poorly. I’ve never expected it go this way. Kim at the front desk was very friendly and helpful though.
Went in to get my wisdom tooth out and was getting the normal nervous butterflies which made me get a little hot and they checked my temp and seen it was a little high. Instead of checking it 15 min later like every other place they just push you right out the door. Do not go here, bunch of scams!
Train your front-end staff on when they will or won't accept people pertaining to Covid rules. We've been waiting months for this appointment. We called several days before to inform them that there was a possible exposure, but we were assured that this wouldn't be a problem as long as patient wasn't showing symptoms (we are both double-vaccinated and are showing no symptoms). I took the day off of work to drive patient (who also took the day off of work) only to be informed in the parking lot that they would not see us, even though YOUR office told us there would not be an issue (we have the voice message). I wouldn't have an issue with you saying, "No, we can't take you because of a possible exposure" prior to us taking two days off of work and re-arranging or schedules. Know that your miscommunications and ignorance of your OWN rules have real-life implications. Do better.
