Orlando & Carlos Driving School, Brooklyn NY

Just called with some queries and the young lady who answered was really helpful. No rushy or snobby behaviour. Kudos to them.

The good:
* Nancy, the instructor for most of my lessons (see below for more details), was super patient and encouraging throughout all my lessons. She taught me great hacks for nailing turns and parallel parking. Nancy is 100% the reason I passed my road test, and I'm incredibly grateful for her support.
* Nice front desk staff who will help you whenever you have questions or issues (again, see below).
* Solid price for lessons.
* Online 5-hour class.
* Great cars that are super recent. Wow, things have changed DRASTICALLY since 2017 when I started learning to drive!

The bad:
My first few lessons were with Carlos. Partway through my last lesson with him, he asked increasingly intimate questions about my current and past relationships — even when I tried to keep the conversation PG. I'm not sure how discussing sexual aspects of my relationship helps me improve my driving.

After that lesson ended, I asked the front desk to change me to someone else. They made sure I wouldn't have to interact with Carlos for the remainder of my lessons. If it wasn't for Nancy, I would've gone somewhere else and given this driving school the lowest rating.

I would never recommend Carlos as an instructor to women or girls. The way he treated me was unacceptable; I can only imagine how he speaks to younger women. I hope Nancy starts her own driving school so I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

Passed my license on 85 very nice people, friendly and very responsible always on time. My trainer was Nancy very nice women.

They are really helpful and and I took 2 lessons before my test which helped a lot they taught me all the right things for my test and how I need to drive at test! I passed! Thanks a lot! Thanks Carlos

THIS IS THE SCHOOL YOU NEED TO GO TO IF YOU WANT TO PASS YOUR ROAD TEST! I only took 3 classes with Orlando & Carlos Driving School and it was amazing. They received me with open arms and made me feel so secure and welcome. I felt like I've been driving with them for so long and they made me feel like they actually wanted to teach me unlike other schools I've went to. Nancy is an AMAZING teacher and she WILL make sure she does everything in her power to help you pass. As I was waiting to take my road test the guy who took me was so sweet and made me lose all my nervousness. He played music and gave me great tips before it was my turn. This school is amazing and I can never thank them enough.

Definitely recommend anyone to come here and give your absolute trust to the Orlando and Carlos driving school, from the office staff to the driving instructors they make you feel at ease and most importantly get you ready for the road test on time. Don’t think twice to come here and Drive safely!

I am so thankful I decided to come to Orlando & Carlos! Prices were very reasonable, staff were very friendly and made me feel like they knew me forever. I had Nancy as my instructor, she was so calm and understanding with me. Never have I ever touched the wheel, and somehow she made me feel like I have done it before. I passed my exam on the first try & I really think it was because of Nancy!

Classes are affordable! I got my driver's license here! Carlos is amazing teacher he would let you know if your ready for your road test which is important cause many people schedule a road test not knowing if their ready or not! Nancy is also awesome took a few classes with her.she explains the dos and don't and is passionate about her teaching.receptionist is also great professional and works with you on scheduling classes

Amazing, I only took 3 lesson with Carlos, And I passed my road test on the first time, very supported staff, so thankful.

Carlos is the best! He helped me & kept me calm and laughing even when I was tense. Thank you Carlos! I knew I made the right choice coming to this school when my cousin recommended me here!

Very patient and friendly staff. Great place for new and nervous drivers. They help you get comfortable behind the wheel. When I first started driving, I was very nervous and anxious, but they were very patient with me and helped me prepare for my road test.and I passed my road test on my first try. Highly recommend this school. Great experience.
