Orsid New York reviews
17I really have had a great experience with Orsid as a whole. I couldn't recommend them more! The staff are very professional and are just great people to take care of your property.
I have personally been working with Orsid for the last 13 years. They are one of the most professionally run organizations I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I am in the Vertical Transportation industry and things can get very complicated from inspections to complete modernizations, but when working on an Orsid job, it is always smooth. From their compliance department to the managers to Ownership, everyone truly cares and wants to make sure the project is completed successfully and on time. They are just a pleasure to work with.
Like most people, i tend to write reviews when i am dissatisfied with a product, service or company. In an effort to be more balanced, i wanted to call out the partnership our Central Park West building has had with Orsid Realty over the past eight years. Building management is a tough business. For every high quality company, there seems to be 5-10 mediocre ones. Orsid is one of the good ones. Solid management, strong, motivated leadership, starting with the company president, Neil Davidowitz, and a structure that minimizes Account Executives from getting over-stretched. Over the years, Orsid has saved our building thousands of dollars and kept the building ahead of the ever-changing New York City and DOB policy changes. Highly recommend buildings looking to change management companies to give Orsid a look.
I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Orsid Realty on a repair project. As a contractor with years of industry experience, I have worked with various building management companies, but the level of professionalism and expertise displayed by Orsid is outstanding.
We had the pleasure of working with Denisa Music at Orsid. She replied quickly to all of our messages, clarified any questions we had, and helped keep the process moving. We are super fortunate to have worked with Orsid and Denisa! Thank you!
Worked with Nita and her compliance team for years. It has always been easy to communicate and solve open issues. Looking forward to continuing our working relationship.
Nita Durakovic is outstanding at her job and makes every working relationship a pleasure. All the team members at Orsid are extremely responsive, communicative and reliable. I have had only positive experiences with this company and Nita is always there to answer a question or to lend a helping hand. Thank you for all your hard and diligent work.
OH and LOL at their postibe reviews! THEYRE all from BOARD presidents! NOT one from a regular renter or owner of coop. TELLING. GREED and EVIL
Anel Dervisevic is a horror to work with. We used to have Northern lights management for these buildings and they were on top of añl maintenance. Anel Does Illegal handlings of things to serve the companys greed. I had a flood in my room qith mold with a child and numerous emails and attempt and only until he felt we was moving which was 9 months later he gave the go to thr super to get it fixed. He had my 600$ stroller stolen snd taken from the fromt of my apartment and illegaly because if it wss legal he would have said its in my storage unit. Instead they placed it in the buildings storage where ive seen it and they pretenf they didnt steal it. I see him on property constantly and hes done a tros of illegal things to try and drive me out the building because they turned these into coops. Also with three empty buildings since I was one of the only last rentals here he specifically made sure the apartment and wall that connected to my unit was worked on first and only for 9 months. Meaning there was Only drilling from morning to evening just on thid wall and EVERY apartment empty. He wouldnt accept certain applications that legally had to be done on their end until forcef. He plays rotton. Orsid Is a greedy and evil company and if I could personally speak about how twisted they did things to get me out of here to sell this unit I woulf but until everything is handled. Iñl leave it at that. You people are awful and eventually itll catch up. By the looks of the amenities they advertise and still havent finished thry probably didnt grt the funds thry thght they would so quickly.
Update: Im moving and they refuse to give me back my childs stroller. I had filed a police report for this stroller because I didnt know where it was until a building employee for the construction showed me where they hid it. Ill follow up
Danielle Voght is the most unprofessional managing agent. We have only had negative experiences with her such as lack of responding. If you get lucky and she responds to you, she is very rude.
As a current Board member of the co-op, I can safely say Orsid has gone above and beyond for our building. They are always professional, giving great advice on issues pertaining to the co-op, contract negotiations and managing vendors and staff. No matter the level, the managers and executives provide stellar service and knowledge to help our building run more efficiently. Extra special thanks to Dennis and Maureen for always going the extra mile to get things done.
Unfortunately, I've lived in an Orsid Managed Condo Building, and it has been a nightmare. The Building Manager can care less about the unit owners concerns regarding their responsibilities as far as window upgrades, heating and hot water. This company is constantly misusing funds in unnecessary projects as well as hiring shotty contractors. Beware and stay far away from these parasites!
I am Board President and a 15 year board member of our upper east side condo. We began working with Orsid a dozen years ago after ongoing, frustrating issues with our former management company. Working with Eileen Aluska, Laura Krasner and the team at Orsid we have transformed how our building's finances and day to day operations are handled. We no longer have to scramble to respond to emergencies and changing NYC laws and regulations. Orsid helps us plan 1,3,5 even 10 years forward on our infrastructure and local law requirements. They were particularly responsive during the early days of Covid working with the board, staff and residents under great pressure and shifting guidance. Our building is over 90 years old and there are continuous infrastructure issues. Due to Orsid's experience and professional relationships, we are guided toward reliable contractors and are able to negotiate best price. Eileen provides continuous oversight and communication with the board and staff during these projects as well as for our day to day operational issues. We are very pleased with Orsid and value our building's relationship with them as partners in caring for our residents and property.
I have worked with Orsid for over a decade as both a co-operator and a board member. I am pleased with the level of knowledge and professionalism the company in general and its staff have shown over the years.
I'm a board president in NY, NY (Chelsea) and have worked with Orsid >15 years. We have had three Orsid account heads in that time, each excellent & responsive. In particular, we've weathered two major crises, and Orsid/our account managers were instrumental in us navigating and recovering from both. Their expertise, experience, contact & vendor networks, and help making key decisions, as well as guidance in managing unit owners throughout critical periods, are all highly valued. I am comforted knowing our account managers are a phone call or text away & that I can rely on a timely response when something critical arises. In addition, we get access to various subject experts at the company, also useful in decision making. Our board of managers and unit owners greatly benefit having Orsid in our corner.
Our building has been with Orsid for several years now. I am pleased with their problem solving, their competence, their professionalism.
I work with a number of transfer departments across the city, and no one holds a candle to Anita Sehwani. She’s quick to respond, follows up at all hours, and ensures that the board application and closing processes. And if there is anything else that is needed due to a board request or other required document, she always comes back to me quickly to ensure any gap is filled. In short, she’s just on top of things.
Given the amount of coverage usually deployed in this arena, it’s not something I see often with others in her position. Well done!
They seem to charge exorbitant prices for seemingly basic management company services. For example, basic condo questionnaire could be as expensive as $250. You would think they spend a lot of time filling them in. When I called them, the rep told me it took than no more 3 minutes. When I subsequently reviewed, many questions were either blank or clearly wrong. As a fairly saavy consumer, this is not less in my opinion equate to a scam.
