I'm typically skeptical of new things, but when you're hurting and traditional medicine isn't working you'll try anything.glad I did. Matthew Reed has an extensive knowledge of physiology and quickly figured out how to successfully use dry needling (NOT the same as acupuncture) to treat my back issues when nothing else worked. 6 weeks ago I couldn't walk my dog down the street without my leg going numb. Now I'm back to hiking 4000' Adk mountains without pain. He's now treating some knee pain that I was told would require surgery but may actually be misdiagnosed tendinitis.the guy knows his stuff. Everyone is different but I believe today's medicine only promotes pills, surgery and physical therapy when there may be other safe and effective ways to treat the issue. I'm proof that it works and getting my old life back, WITHOUT surgery, how valuable is that? I wish finding medical help this effective wasn't so unusual, but I'm certainly glad I followed up and tried it.

Matt has made a believer out of me I never thought that acupuncture and Chinese herbs would help solve alot of my problems but using both together has been a huge life changer. He was even able to fix things that I didn't know were a problem he and his girlfriend Hannah and definitely worth checking out!

I’ve had a neck fusion, lower back fusion and untethering of my spinal cord. I sought out Matt because my activities of daily living are constantly affected by pain. I have Syringomyelia and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome - plus am over 50. I don’t want to be a great athlete or anything but I do want to be able to take a walk, go for groceries or vacuum without being in pain. Since seeing Matt I’ve noticed a marked improvement in my posture and pain level. I’ve never had treatments like this that are so specific to an individual’s problems or needs - and believe me I’ve gone to a lot of places - even the Cleveland Clinic! Matt does a thorough evaluation and bases treatment on his incredible knowledge and expert technique. He’s very professional, kind and easy to communicate with! I know I will never be at but I NEVER thought I could even get to where I am now! You definitely should try it - you have nothing to lose and EVERYTHING to gain! Plus, his office and staff are welcoming, friendly and professional as well! Thanks, Matt!

Dr. Reed (and Hannah Inglish, massage therapist) have both been at the core of my sports injury recovery and enhanced performance. Not only that, but the herbal formulas that I have been taking (prescribed by Dr. Reed) have helped my mental health enormously. I have more energy, have been in a consistently better mood, and feel more resilient to stress. My rock climbing and running has improved significantly. I never knew acupuncture could be the answer to so many underlying issues.it is like magic. I highly recommend this clinic!

I’ve been to a dozen Accupuncturists/dry needling ‘experts’ all over Canada and the US and Matthew is, by far, the best! He could easily find muscle atrophy (something I had no idea I had) and using nerve systems, gave me back some strength in my hands where I wondered if I was just getting old. Although my history of damage is long (from multiple sports), my neck rotation is now the best it’s been in over 15 years (within 10 sessions). I highly recommend him as a true expert in his field.

I am a 73 year old farmer and former collegiate athlete who has done a great deal of physical work, pushing my body to its limits for decades. As a result I suffer chronic and often debilitating back, shoulder, neck, hip, and foot pain. I have used the services of a chiroprator for many years, but the results are not long lasting. I decided to give acupuncture a try. Matt gave me a thorough and extensive treatment. The treatment itself was not painful but gave a sensation that was very unusual. The results were fantastic! After the first treatment, I actually gained a couple inches in height, just because I could stand straight for the first time in years. I had increased strength and could work long days doing strenuous activity without pain. There was even an unexpected (but welcome) improvement to my love life! I feel like I'm 40 again! Thanks, Matt!

Acupuncture is the real deal. It’s life changing stuff. I’m 18 and i’ve been having neck problems and I didn’t know what it could do. Matt is the real deal. Would recommend this to anyone with muscle problems.

After my second session with Matt Reed, I couldn't believe what a difference I've felt. I am an active 30 year old who plays hockey 3-5x per week and always suffered from a pervious shoulder injury and lower back injury. My job often found me in constant pain from sitting for extended periods of time and after only 2 sessions with Matt I am dumbfounded how quickly this has all worked. I have increased strength and flexibility back in both my shoulder and lower back and will continue to see Matt for his expertise. I would highly recommend.

After 2 sessions with Matthew Reed, I highly recommend Orthopedic & Sports Acupuncture for chronic musculoskeletal tension and pain! I noticed significant improvement in my shoulder after just the first session (and, as a result, have been sleeping well for the first time in a long time). I am a lifelong athlete, U. S. Marine Corps veteran, and a Licensed Massage Therapist with decades' worth of chronic trigger points, myofascial issues, and rounded shoulders. Despite stretching constantly and working on my posture, I couldn't walk easily with my shoulders back until Matthew Reed worked on me! He is professional and assesses/addresses muscular patterns of the whole body (not just the shoulder, etc). His work on my hip has helped my shoulder, and it is amazing how my strength in those areas increased immediately with his treatments. I will continue to work with him to "reset" my core muscle imbalances and make sure I hold these changes. I'm grateful that the VA referred me here.

I am a middle aged woman who consistently engages in job related physical work. I was experiencing pain and loss of function and a friend referred me to Matt. Matt treated me for back, hip, and shoulder pain and loss of strength. A day after the treatment, I have better range of motion, no pain, and can easily complete physical tasks that a few days ago were painful and difficult to do. Matt and his staff are friendly and professional. The location is easy to access with lots of parking. I recommend his services!

I’m 38 years old and have had severe low back pain for my whole life. I’ve managed the pain with massage, chiropractic care, physical therapy, pharmaceuticals, yoga, meditation, even counseling. Those things have helped but the pain remained. I’ve been a client of Matt’s for about three weeks and was skeptical that his services would be able to help. After today’s treatment, my back pain is completely gone! It was remarkable, leaving me in tears of joy. Matt listens attentively, works methodically and unrushed and checks in frequently to make sure I was ok with the treatment. The experience can be intense at times but it’s sooo worth the results. Acupuncture is now another tool in my back pocket for taking care of my body.

I have been to Matthew for acupuncture treatment 4 times. I have suffered with tendonosis in both of my Achilles as well as a painful heel spur. I have already experienced a marked improvement in my ankle/tendon mobility and the pain has really subsided. I’m so thankful this treatment is helping and am looking forward to being able to possibly run again pain free. Matthew is very professional and knowledgeable and answers all of my questions. The office is very comfortable and clean.

I came to see matt after reading all of the amazing reviews on his website. As a 57 year old kickboxer and runner, I had suddenly begun to have difficulties with my knees. I couldn't move, and it was so frustrating! I had been to see an orthopedist, who in the 2 minutes he spent with me, never even looked at my knees.

When I had my initial assessment with Matthew, it was a completely different experience. He spent at least an hour listening, explaining how different muscle groups interact, and testing my muscles. He fully explained each needle and the effect of stimulating that muscle. When he finished the first treatment, he retested my muscles. There was an immediate improvement. Over time and more treatments, my knees have really improved. I am now bringing my 15 year old daughter for treatment for her chronic sports injuries.

I tell everyone I know who has chronic pain about Matthew and how much my daughter and I have benefited from his treatments. His thoroughness, communication, professonalism and expertise will greatly benefit your health & well being!

I'm an experienced runner, but had been dealing with a bout of plantar fasciitis that flared up in January 2020 and was persistent for months. After my first session that included an assessment and dry needling I noticed an immediate improvement. After three sessions my PF was almost nonexistent. Matt knows his stuff, and not only that, takes the time to explain it and ensure my comfort level. I look forward to continuing this journey back to full recovery and improved performance.

After serving in the US Military (US Air Force) with two deployments to the sand box, and numerous instances after my service where I developed extremely bad habits with my overall posture, along with clinching my jaw muscles, I was referred to Matt's practice in Cicero, NY. His first assessment yielded I indeed had rancid posture and no ability to keep my shoulders straight and upright with my body. Case in point, even while laying down on his table my shoulders did not touch the table itself as they were aimed ward.

Enter: Matt. He not only undid the major malfunction of my body's posture, but also managed to get my jaw to finally open wide after years of TMJ tightness. It also taught me that all of these things are interrelated for how one completely different issue, i.e. Bad posture and/or upper back/neck soreness, can absolutely affect other parts of your body such as chronic TMJ. Now, my pain may not be zero but compared where I was before I became a patient of Matt is night and day. It's not even close.

More importantly, after trying numerous other methods to fix my issues from chiropractic adjustments for a year, standard acupuncture and semi-regular deep tissue massages, this was literally the first and only method, dry needling acupuncture, that truly undid years and years of damage.

That being said, be ready to endure some level of pain with this type of acupuncture- it won't tickle and yes there will be times you're thinking oh gosh, that hurts! But have no fear, Matt will nurse mate you through this process and journey every step of the way so your mind is at ease. And besides, the old saying goes, "no pain, no gain" Nuff said.

After experiencing a pinched nerve in my neck for several weeks with no relief from chiropractor treatments I decided to try Accupuncture for the first time. Was a bit skeptical at first but after a couple of targeted treatments Matt was able to give me some noticeable relief. Feeling much better now and can’t argue with the results. Would highly recommend giving this type of treatment a try!

Highly recommend! I am an avid runner and had been struggling with low back and sciatic pain for over a year. I felt like I had tried everything (chiropractor, PT, etc) with no change, so I decided to give this a try - and it worked! My pain is gone! So grateful for Matt's work.
