We recently purchased Viking kitchen appliances from Orville's in April 2021. Only part of order was fulfilled due to covid reasoning i get it. The Viking range on back order so they delivered the refrigerator and microwave. We were not home when delivered so a friend was able to let the delivery men into the house. We got home that evening to find that the refrigerator had not been unwrapped.hmm little weird.so i proceed to remove plastic unveiling bent in upper door and the lower freezer drawer.i immediately contacted the store (orchard park) who referred me to the service which sent me to delivery.ugh. I explained that i thought the refrigerator was either dropped or fell sometime prior to be delivered. I explained that the refrigerator was not acceptable and needs replacing. I was assured that it would be taken care of.since my stove was not in I knew hey would not leave me hanging.at least i thought.later that week service men showed up to take care of the refrigerator. They told me they would order the parts and it would be perfect as it should or they would replace it with another. So its been 4 months the freezer is icing up and frosting on outside of drawer. Today the service man call to tell me he has no parts to fix the refrigerator so i called the manager "Renea" who some how wants to make this my problem because i was not home to receive delivery and refuse it. I was not happy with that so ask for her bosses name she responded "I'm going to hang up now" which she did i guess the customer service manager was done talking. Not sure what transpires from here but i did learn whether you buy "on line" or "shop local" they are both quick to shift blame and responsibility to someone else.

I bought a whole kitchen appliance set and the stove came with the wrong racks and they will not do anything about it and Lg is out of that part so now I have a to wait until who knows how long until they get the part in. They don’t do any returns even if they item is new and they have rude customer service. I would not shop there again and will shop somewhere where they value their customer’s business. All they have to do is swap the rack with one of theirs and they can wait for the part to come in but all they care about is money.

Placed an order for a Samsung refrigerator and was told the delivery date would be before the end of the month. We called to check on the order only to find that the fridge would not be avaliable for at least another month. No one called us to tell us this information. Had to cancel the order. Would recommend a different appliance dealer with stable inventory. This is clearly not the place.

We went there yesterday to possibly purchase a washer, dryer, stove and refrigerator. The sales person couldn't have been more rude or disinterested. We went there because our friends had compliments about them. Chances are we will go elsewhere. This was incredibly disappointing.

Orville's has a variety of household appliances with extended warranty on most items. Depending on how much you want to spend, they have it in stock or special order. In doing your own research, defo give them a look see.

I ordered a microwave and an oven in September 2020 from Tom. It’s now January 2021 and I still do not have it. I followed up with Him every 5 weeks asking for a status and he said no update. I noticed other companies like Home Depot and Best Buy have had them recently. I sent another email asking for an update and Tom said orvilles is back ordered by 400 units and no eta.when I copied the customer service group on my next correspondence email, I get a call from Tom informing me I involved corporate customer service and he is canceling my order.before I a chance to speak, he hung up. I waited 4 months for these products and because I questioned them, they cancelled me.terrible company and service.

Got new appliances in Feb 2021. Great experience with new appliance purchase and delivery.
Locally owned store, so a purchase here supports our local economy.

My Salesperson was knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy. Orvilles matches prices from competitive stores too, so I saved a couple hundred bucks by mentioning a Lowe's ad!

Delivery guys were respectful of our home and very careful in moving and installing everything.

Past two times I went to lowes to shop for an appliance only to be met with someone who didn't know the products, or couldn't get someone's attention to purchase something and when I did the delivery times were weeks out. Went to Orville's in the spring for a fridge, had one that weekend, now went to get a dryer from there tonight (wed) and having one delivered Friday. Their delivery guys do a fantastic job and install everything quickly and with care and go beyond to make sure the experience is great.

Good place to buy appliances. Everything in my home is from Orvilles. The staff is helpful and nice. Great variety and you will find what you are looking for here. Prices are reasonable

Seriously.a smooth, joyful, and productive experience. Our washer & dryer recently got fried from a power surge and we have been on the look for over a week. The displays and facility was clean and neat. We were greeted right away by friendly and knowledgeable staff! Myah was awesome! If she isn’t the employee of the month.she should be! Wasn’t pushy to make us buy something out of our price range, or something we didn’t want. Helpful with what was in stock and had reliable answers to all of our questions! We were in and out in NO time! There was a delivery service that we declined and were able to pick up our own appliances the day of at their warehouse! Highly recommend! And again, thank you Myah!

I purchased a Whirlpool dryer at the recommendation of an Orville employee
The product continuously would not dry my clothing
The dryer was under warranty
Orville would not take back or exchange the dryer
They also would not schedule service for me
I had to call an 800 number, literally was on hold several times for over an hour with no answer
I finally went on line and could not get an appt for over a week.
Do not use either of these companies if you like dry clothing

They are great here, got taken care of quickly and efficiently. My washer will arrive tomorrow.

I was met at the door by one of the nicest girl and my delivery came early I'm very happy with my purchase.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Also when we couldn't get our appliance for 3 weeks (even a pickup at the store) We were able to pick it up on the same day!

They’re great. Awesome customer service and you didn’t have to wait months to get the appliances like Lowe’s or Home Depot! Similar pricing. Came delivered in 4 days!

We have bought our appliances from Orville's for years. They always have something that interests us. Various price points and styles. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Buyer Beware! If you buy any appliance there, Your stuck with it, there is no more returning it, even if it's defective. There using covid 19 as their excuse. Will be filling a complaint with NYS. I took a brand new truck 2020 truck for a test drive, I wasn't told I had to buy it because covid 19. Orville's is a joke!

I normally don’t write reviews. I feel compelled to do so now.

My wife and I ordered a new refrigerator for our downstairs finished basement. When the refrigerator came today (delivered), the guys did place it in the basement as contracted.

My wife noticed that the doors open in the opposite direction we wanted. She asked the one gentleman if they were reversible and if they could take care of that. Their response was he didn’t know, then walked away.

I noticed when I went to look at the fridge that the freezer door doesn’t open and close properly. It sticks and makes a noise. Shouldn’t this be checked before they brought it in or left?

I called the store to speak with someone. They transferred me to delivery. The delivery folks hung up on me. I called the store back to speak with the manager. The very nice lady that I spoke with was going to have the manager call me back. No return call came.

I’m disheartened by Orvilles. The last 2 experiences (including this one) that I’ve had with them has been disappointing at best.

We try to shop local and to support local business. Orvilles just lost our support. I certainly wouldn’t recommend Orvilles to anyone after this experience.
