16Quick and painless, went at opening, our rep was helpful and funny. Got handicap plates for 1 car and she advised us to go to the town office for the placard for the other car
They discriminated against me and refused to give me my permit I go to the Fulton DMV and there is no problem at all I am filing a report against them.

She has long brown hair and worked at window 4. She was rude and not helpful from the beginning. She told me I had to go out of state where I bought my car and have them sign a letter. I said I had it on the road before in N. Y. She grinned and gave my license and paper back with attitude. I gave her the opportunity to apologize and we could finish going over other ideas. She laughed said she won't and doesn't have to apologize. She swore and said get out. When my family and I were near the exit door she yelled for all to hear HAVE A NICE DAY! The DMV is a lot more organized and more windows are available so the wait isn't long. I have never had an issue before. I do recommend people going just avoid her window even if your the next in line if you wanna have a good outcome. It's worth the wait. Oswego NY DMV will go back to 5 stars when they hire all people with excellent customer service skills.
It was crowded, I can't say I really enjoyed the experience. The fees have gone through the roof for everything I guess they think everyone's rich or is this just New York State? Anyway who likes going to the DMV? You almost know for sure you're going to have some kind of problem when you get to the front of the line and get to the clerk
What's the point of making an appointment to stand in line for an hour? I will say that the staff is wonderful. Best I've ever encountered.
Make a appointment, have your documents ready, go on their website and print what you need so you can have it filled out and ready. Was so quick and easy.
Very hard getting a hold of someone on the phone. Then you go into the office and they're mostly just chit chatting.
Because of the COVID restrictions and some staffing issues, there were long lines and cranky customers, but the staff at Oswego handled even the most cranky with professionalism and kindness. I was already impressed with this, but they also went the extra mile for me. When I left one of the plates behind, the representative used it to find my number and called me to let me know!
Everyone loves to tell a good DMV horror story, but I don’t think you’ll find many here.
One of the worse places to try and get info to even attempt to try and get your paperwork and transaction done. Just phone fulton or pulaski if you actually wanna get somewhere instead of this joke a facility. My last phone call was dropped at 1 hour and 32 minutes of being on hold not speaking to a live soul. And they wonder why people don't have thier vehicles straight.
Good luck getting ahold of someone to make appointments. You'll be on hold for sometimes over an hour only to be hung up on. I'm very unsure of how they deem it acceptable. They handle Covid precautions well inside the building though.

Better than it was before the renovation and went smoothly everyone was Pleasant and Kind wait time was just a few minutes and whole trip was n only 15min!
It went a lot smoother than I thought it would. Taylor was a great deal of help and very patient with us. Friendly and courteous staff, not like I remember them being 21 years ago.
I think the dmv should only be open for appointments only it was so nice I was in and out in under ten minutes just make sure you plan ahead there is a wait to get in
