Otsego Park reviews
7My kids play Baseball there 3 seasons a year. They love it. Cute snack stand. There are 2 entrances to the park. The fields are not covered when it rains. So the next day the game might be cancelled because of it. But over all a very nice park. There is a basketball court and playground as well.
Great fields. Well kept. My children both have excellent coach's and the offer free clinics as part of league fees. Very happy with overall experience.
Nice baseball park with 9 fields. Many teams play there from ages 6 to 18. Great place to relax and pass the time away.
Clean park with tennis, basketball, roller hockey, baseball fields, and fire dept race track
Excellent place to play basketball safe and friendly.also a concession stand
As you can see in the picture of the roller rink at Otsego Park, the town has made every effort to keep people from playing on the rink, rather than fixing the rink itself. There’s a large crack that runs about 75% of the length of the rink, and there are some sharp edges around the top edge of the boards, which is why they don’t want people playing there - they don’t want a lawsuit. Understandable, but in the time we played there none of us were ever injured, nor was our ability to play hindered. The town’s action to get people to stop playing there was to dump several piles of dirt on the surface, which has now grown grass and weeds in the past year. Clearly no plan has been put in action to make the rink playable, while the basketball and baseball courts remain fully functional year round. Fix the rink and give kids a place to play, roller hockey rinks are few and far between on Long Island as it is.
An efficient place for baseball. I think the sight lines at some of the fields are poor. I know players seem to enjoy playing here, but as a spectator, it's hard to see the batter's box from the bleachers.
