Lenny did a really swift and incredible job with my hair. She did exactly what I asked for and made some additional helpful recommendations for the cut and my haircare. I also was able to learn some styling tips from her. The atmosphere of the salon was so fun and high energy. Would recommend to all curlies!

Loved my curly cut by Naiomi! She listens to your concern and shapes your hair into the perfect shape. Plus her curls always popping. I don’t trust anyone else with my hair. The salon is calm, offers tea and staff are friendly. Will definitely book again and book a treatment. The collagen treatment left my hair so defined. I received a lot of compliments.

I had a great experience at Oudiad salon especially since my stylist was Naiomi she definitely left my hair feeling new and rejuvenated which left me loving my curly cut. I definitely recommend getting your hair styled by Naiomi she works wonders.

They changed my life. My daughter had her first haircut here and when she saw the finished product the first thing out of her mouth was "wow, I look beautiful". It was so nice to be in a salon where everywhere you look there's varying degrees of curls. They know what they're talking about and they're there to help you get to your best curly self. They'll definitely be seeing us again in 6 months

I asked for a medium brown, and they gave me orange. Do not come here if you have type 4 hair, it was a very hostile environment, they were not nice or welcoming.

Best salon for curly hair in NYC. It's expensive but worth it. Been going for years and have never been disappointed.

I love going to Ouidad and their new flatiron location! My curls never looked as good before I started coming here. I have been getting my hair cut and styled by Jessica for a few years now and can no longer go anywhere else. Jessica is always in such fun, positive, spirits and makes sure to work with me on understanding whatever my curls need and helping me better care for them. Naiomi was amazing! I’ve been looking all over NYC for years now for the perfect place that specializes in curly hair, and now I don’t have to look any further. I’m a natural brunette and my hair is copper which is so tricky to maintain and before Naiomi, most stylists weren’t able to give me that natural look I wanted and I’d walk out looking like a pumpkin lol, but Naiomi literally restored my faith in getting my hair done! I got a curly cut and a color refresh + single process on my roots and Naiomi did an EXACT match to my color and made it look so incredible! Couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to come back!

I made an appointment last minute which is why I chose Keesha. She was available so I went with it. I am inexperienced at the salon so I didn't know exactly what to expect but overall, I didn't have a good experience. I felt like Keesha rushed. She asked someone else to wash and apply product in my hair on two occasions while she was getting ready herself, putting on her extensions and makeup. She told me I didn’t need a lot of product because my hair was fine but I left with so much product in my hair. It was very weighed down and had 0 volume which was my top concern coming in. I wanted lots of layers but I couldn't tell if she cut any because of the product and how she brush/finger styled. My front pieces were cut too short and didn't blend with the rest of my hair. They were big chunks. She said she had another client soon so my hair wasn't fully dry and she didn't make any last minute cuts to make sure everything was even. I also noticed she didn't dry cut my hair in the beginning like I saw other stylists do. She didn't execute so the price I paid was not worth it.

Jessica is my curly cut hairstylist ever since day 1 and she is AMAZING at what she does! She makes you feel welcomed, comfortable, and easy to talk to about anything as well! My curls would always come out beautiful and well defined! She never disappoints me! If you’re looking for a specific hairstylist, book with jessica!

I went for the first time last week and my curls have never looked better. Suleky was patient, knowledgeable, and informative. She took the time to educate me so I could translate what she did at home.

Keesha and Daphany did a great job on my curly cut, wash, and style! I will be coming back for my trims and color treatment. They were very friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable and trusting throughout the entire process.

Jessica is my go-to curl girl. She does amazing work. Did a cut and color on me late last year and a cut on me more recently. And it's always a wonderful experience. She's an absolute sweetheart. And more importantly she knows her stuff. 24 years of experience cutting curls and it shows. Would 100% recommend her.

I loved my experience here! My stylist was so sweet and very understanding of my worry abt my hair. I have mixed hair and my family never knew how to take care of it, so I just shaved it all off and let it grow back in a blob—but my Ouidad gave me a better hair cut shape and taught me how to fix everything! What a phenomenal experience! Jessica is fantastic and definitely made me feel at home. As a trans person I can sometimes be uncomfortable entering salons and she absolutely made me feel welcome. The balayage and cut look amazing and were exactly what I wanted.

I walked in and she took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my hair questions! I left the salon with so much knowledge on how to care and style my hair. She truly knows hair & it's evident in the way she speaks about it, too.

The haircuts may seem pricey for some, but so is NYC. Ouidad is an upscale salon. Jessica is the best stylist & her haircuts are pristine. She cuts my hair curly & somehow, it still is even if I choose to straighten it at a later time.

My hair is mid-back length [when straightened] & my curl type is 3B. I highly recommend seeing Jessica for your curls. You won't be disappointed & your curls will thank you with each bounce. ️

I recently had an appointment with Suleky and am so glad I did. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and talented. I’ve been natural my whole life, and this was my first time going to someone who specializes in curls and curly cuts. Suleky went over my hair history with me and my hair goals and even recommended a treatment for my fragile curls. She took the time to explain each styling step and gave me tips for styling my hair at home.

I am happy that I finally gave Ouidad a try. I cannot wait to see how my hair progresses as I continue to work with Suleky. She’s the best!
