Our Lady of Assumption Church, Copiague NY

My mother paid a very expensive private mass for my dad who passed away 12 years ago. This Saturday sept 30th. And the priest Gustavo was extremely rude to all of us. We were treated like garbage. He said we didn’t believe in church or god and we were all going to die. I’m extremely disappointed and embarrassed. I would not recommend this church to no one.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I dont even call gustavo a priest. His words are offensive and so is his attitude. He needs to get removed from that church. He judges us for everything and declares that we are all going to die and he will be the only one that God will save. I can't believe he is committing a sin of judgment to his people and needs to be removed as a priest

Nasty Priest Gustavo! Hateful words. I had to leave the church because I couldn't stand how he was talking to us!

I cannot call him a priest, when he is nothing but a rude and nasty guy, Gustavo thinks because he is charge he can say whatever he wants, he will make you feel like you are not worthy of God! He believes he is going to heaven by pointing fingers, but it’s clear he will not be accepted by God and belongs in hell with the rest of the people that are prejudice and vainness.

Priest Gustavo is the worse! I hope one day someone puts him on his place just like he did to us. He needs to get fired from that church!

Terrible message given by the priest of that church, Gustavo! In their words and attitude, pride and arrogance emerge. My mother paid for a private mass in memory of my father, this priest performed the mass in less than 25 minutes. He started the ceremony ahead of time, and instead of giving a word of love and reconciliation, it was one of fear and judgment. Two years ago it was the same when I approached him to tell him that I wanted to baptize my son and he was a resounding no because I am not married in the Catholic Church, and he told me that I live in sin, (if I am married in the civil rite) so it is class of priests should rather dedicate themselves to guarding prisons and not to preaching the word of God. Furthermore, when the
Mass and we ask for your blessing from more than 130 feet away I send it and very reluctantly
