overwinter coffee - elmwood village reviews
14Good cappuccino but such a tiny cup. If another size was available, it wasn’t offered. Mediocre service. Cute but small location.
More like overrated coffee. $8 for a latte and it was absolutely terrible. I never write bad reviews, especially small business. But where do you get off charging what you do for something so bad? And the employees have 0 personality and seem irritated if you ask them a question. And you don't have the most popular favor of all- caramel. Not that not having that merits a bad review but how do you not have that? I'd rather have gas station coffee.
Excellent cappuccinos. Pleasant staff and very cozy sitting area. Wish they had savory baked goods. Otherwise fine place.
I've been here before but recently started coming here every Sunday afternoon as my go-to spot. For one they charge fair prices for coffee. I'm a simple woman, I always order a small black iced coffee with simple syrup and love that the coffee remains strong with ice in it. It's at a great location, the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. It's always clean, the prices are great. The last thing I really, really appreciate is the choice of music and that it is never too loud. Nothing more annoying then not being able to hear your own thoughts in a coffee shop.lol Thank you for a pleasant experience.:)
Overwinter Coffee is a lovely little spot in the Elmwood Village. The coffee is good and the pastries are appetizing. The staff is outstanding. However, we often leave without ordering because there is nowhere to sit. It is very tiny. It would be better for takeout.
Arguably the best chai in Buffalo! All of their syrups are natural; many are made from locally sourced ingredients. The atmosphere is always stellar, at every location, and the baked goods are scrumptious!
Great coffee. Pretty good pastries. I don't often sit in a coffee shop, but overwinter on Elmwood and Downtown are the only ones I'll stay at unless I'm eating a meal.
Great place if you like your coffee burnt and extremely bitter. 2/2 times the coffee was undrinkable
Excellent coffee. I buy their regular & decaf beans. Staff is nice. They also sell some gluten free pastries.
I just tried OverWinter after living around Buffalo for nearly 15 years, and they have by far my favorite latte in the area! So YUMMY!
The espresso drinks were very nice and the place is comfortable. The drip coffee left something to be desired. That could be my taste in beans, but it wasn't particularly enjoyable.
Cute little shop to hang out and get work done. Pretty quiet, pleasant people who just let you sit and do your thing.
The tables can be a little crowded thanks to the lack of space, but definitely a charming little stop.
I could taste the difference between Overwinter’s iced mocha and others I’ve had - they are using top notch ingredients and know how to bring out the flavors of coffee and cocoa.
Regular coffee is regular-priced, and fancy drinks are at a premium price. They are in a great location to relax and watch people go by. I placed and order, got groceries at the Co-op, and then came back for my drink.
I would like their decorator for my house.
Wanted to try this café for so long and finally did today. I absolutely loved it!
Got an iced lattee with oat milk and maple syrup and it's incredibly delicious.
Got this treat as well (can't remember the name of it, sorry!) and it couldn't get enough.
The staff was also so nice and helpful. Very awesome coffee shop.
