7My wife and I recently stayed here for an unplanned stop, and it was such a happy surprise! Rick was so very accommodating and went above and beyond with his customer service, and I cannot thank him enough! It was sub-20 degrees outside and the room was so warm and cozy. The beds were some of the best sleeping beds my wife and I have ever experienced, and the WiFi was awesome. The lake and the surrounding scenery were beautiful to boot! We plan on making more “planned” trips in the future. Give this place a shot!
Just came back from a wonderful fishing weekend with a bunch of retired college roommates. Rooms were great. Nothing could have been better.
My family spent 2 nights there visiting family in the area so we didn't get a chance to take advantage of the services and grounds, but the room was clean and the staff excellent. This place is a gem - if you are looking to stay in the area and it's available, book it. You won't regret it
Everything was wonderful. Clean rooms, great service. Only complaint I have is that the beds were hard after a day of canoeing
Very clean, well-kept motel on Oxbow Lake with a view from every room. Everything you need on site for a fun stay - flat beach, boat launch, canoes, kayaks, grills, picnic tables, even bonfires at night. Every convenience is there - Wi-Fi, refrigerator, coin-operated laundry, vending machines, ice. There is a restaurant with great food right next door and it’s located a short distance from town for any other needs. Best of all, the owners are super friendly and helpful. Good coffee in the morning and great conversation. Like staying with friends. Highly recommend.
I have never been disappointed with any of my stays here! Extremely hospitable hosts (they are great), clean rooms, great rates and great location! They really make you feel welcome here and it has become my favorite place to stay in the area if I am not camping.
