A low class restaurant, service is bad. They provide paper cups and dishes for customers to enjoy dim sum that make you feel like having a take-out in the street, but still they set a high price for it

I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my experience. The chrysanthemum tea had no discernible flavor, and the pork ribs lacked any distinctive pork taste. Additionally, the restroom had an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke that appeared to have gone unnoticed by staff.

Short wait time on the New Year because it’s low quality food and no one wants to go here. It's 11 AM and at least half of their specialty items aren't even available for some reason and the lo mein we had a lot of excess oil. Oysters we ordered for dim sum had no meat in them. Some food was cold in the dim sum carts like the shrimp dumplings (Har gow). Still using single use utensils. Most likely means they're lazy and don't want to wash dishes.

Egg and seaweed soup is bland, string beans are weirdly sweet, and fried rice is greasy. The mayo on the fried shrimp and broccoli is disgusting. The Peking duck is okay if you get the skin but otherwise it’s dry.

I am Chinese and I grew up going to authentic Chinese places where service is bad but food is good. Normally when people leave bad reviews for a Chinese place complaining about the service, I actually get more excited about the food. I love that sort of place. But Pacific Palace does not simply have “bad service. ”

Even if you call and explain in Chinese that you will be coming from a funeral and bringing flowers, management will have the heartlessness to berate the grieving family about getting rid of the “ugly” flowers. Yes, even if you are in a corner that is sectioned off from the rest of the restaurant by curtains.

Oh! And if you ask to discuss the situation separately, away from the parents dealing with such loss, management will literally refuse to move away from them. They will actually insist on yelling about it in front of a family who is grieving. I wish I was kidding. Again, it doesn’t matter if you called multiple times to tell them it was a funeral reception.

And if, for whatever reason, you still decide to make a large reservation and pre-order food, do not believe the price Ms. Huang gives you. Not only is there a significant up-charge from the menu prices, but they’ll also ignore the number of tables you explicitly requested and put out more. Then they will charge you extra for the table you didn’t ask for, lie and pretend to have amnesia when you show them screenshots of your earlier conversation, and then refuse to accept anything but cash (definitely not suspicious or tax evasion-y).

Come to Pacific Palace if you want a mediocre meal and if you want to experience cruelty and heartlessness from management who knows about your loss and simply does not care. Come to this restaurant and see firsthand the trickery and greed that the owners will deploy just to get some more money from you in a time of sorrow.

This isn’t “bad service” it is straight-up bizzare how psychopathic it is. Good luck to you if you decide to eat here, you WILL be taken advantage of.

Terrible. It has short lines on lunar new year because it’s low quality food and no one wants to go here. All of their specialty dishes are super oily

A lot of dining space and service isn’t bad. However the dimsum isn’t up to par! The dimsum food was cold and didn’t taste fresh at all!

Few variety of dim sum, I ordered a large seafood noodle, freaking scallop on the noodle taste like it’s gone bad, some of the staff is pushy and not very polite. Go some where else.
