Pageant Print Shop reviews
8Really unkind service, possibly racism. I don’t remember the last time I was treated so nasty by a someone in retail. Pls find a new profession.
This shop is an amazing collection of history. The shop owner is a lovely and knowledgeable woman, and she has some really interesting prints and pieces
Bought a cute print from their stall at Union square Christmas market! Only $20. Some of the other reviews on here aren’t so great, glad I didn’t have a bad interaction
Purchased several prints here last year during the height of the pandemic to help a struggling small business out. I belong to a small business family, so they have always had my sympathies and more importantly, my business. However, the owner of this store is extremely rude and condescending, to a point where it makes you feel extremely uncomfortable and want to never come back. Additionally, though this store is woman-owned, it is not minority friendly. She treats her white patrons with utmost respect and sweetness (I witnessed it myself) but scowls and only has monosyllable and condescending responses for POC. Based on the other reviews for this shop, the owner absolutely discriminates against customers on the basis of their ethnicity/languages, and I also think she very much just hates her job. I recommend you close up shop if you don't like being in business and get a job elsewhere. There's a huge labor shortage and plenty of places are hiring. To people in the market for antique prints, go to the bajillion of other print shops in the city (go to the outer boroughs for good customer service and good quality prints) or even a thrift shop, and leave this woman alone. Seems like that's what she wants.
Cool little shop! The shelves have bins of vintage prints to sift through like a vinyl record store. The bins are organized by themes with a bunch of categories. Worth checking out if you're looking for old prints or posters. 5 outta 5
Great selection, reasonable prices (a lot of things for <$25), nice staff. They accept cards.
Very nice prints but the owner made me feel very unwelcome. The problem is that I want to return but I am sure I will be judged.
