Had a really unpleasant and confusing experience here. Some guy was trying to be helpful (I think), but in doing so gently berated me for not having the exact code for the paint I was looking for…or something. Being treated like a child for not being an expert on paint (literally your job) was confusing and embarrassing to say the least. Even if this was a misunderstanding, I won’t be going back at any point. I would strongly suggest not assuming all customers are expert contractors, painters, or know what they are doing at all…that’s likely why they are in the store. Good luck.

By far the best paint store to shop at. Very knowledgeable. They give the best advice.
Prices are fair always. The owner is a cool easy to talk to guy. We at Arco love doing business with you. It's only been 30 years

Paints by george had the best Benjamin Moore prices I've found in NYC. Great selection and staff is knowledgeable. They move a lot of product.

Addi was amazing. Helped me with everything in record time for a special project. Small but cozy store. Support independent stores.

The staff here is so helpful, friendly and great about explaining which paints/products are best for each job. Extra marks for never condescending, which I’ve experienced elsewhere. Support your local, family-owned businesses!

Love the store, and love it that you actually gets answers here. I will come here before I will go to Home Depot or lows. Because here I always got honest answers. Know them for years, and planning to continue coming here for years.
