Palmer's American Grille, Farmingdale NY

Food is wonderful. Service is very attentive. Nicely appointed decor. Delicious entrees and desserts.

This is an European restaurant with a good atmosphere and good service. We went here on super bowl night. Although there are not many customers, the service is still great. The only regret is that I ordered medium Wellington but they made it a little well, they said they would make a new one for me but we declined. Overall a good experience will come again.

Food is good, and staff are friendly. One complaint though, which I noticed on receipt after I left, is restaurant charges a 3.5% surcharge for credit card use. One, I was not told this when I paid the bill, and second, I believe that this practice is illegal in NYS. I understand restaurants been hit hard with pandemic, but so have customers. At minimum, tell the patrons of the extra fee.

Not a bad place You're basic general American food and bar restaurant. Had a meeting here and the service was pretty good food was okay. Nice surroundings, good condition. Who are the place to stop for a decent meal.

Came here for Thanksgiving dinner. Just wasn’t like a home cooked meal. Hardly any cranberries sauce it was like three berries? What the heck is that? It said sausage stuffing…. There was no sausage in the stuffing whatsoever. When I called originally they told me they were going to have everything on the menu, (the regular menu) but that wasn’t the case when we got there: (

Reasonably priced drinks and food. The stake tidbit sandwich was great. The bartender was very friendly and helpful.

Was ok.was shocked on how limited menu was? We asked about specials and were told there wasn't any because night before Thanksgiving, ok? Then while eating, a different server was telling another table about the specials?

The restaurant is beautiful, serene, warm and inviting as well is one of the owners Bobby. He is very welcoming and accommodating. The food is impeccable! As a matter of fact I don't like fish very much but decided to order the hazelnut encrusted basa fish and it is now my favorite! They were so wonderful when my father had past when we came there for lunch after the funeral.
My friend had her wedding reception there as well as her parents 50th anniversary party and they did an amazing job!

MY FAMILY OF 11 CELEBRATED A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY ON 11/21/21 IN THE MAIN DINING ROOM AT PALMERS. THE FOOD WAS FABULOUS AS USUAL WITH EVERYONE ENJOYING APPETIZERS & THE MAIN COURSES. ONE OF THE OWNERS BOB KEPT CHECKING WITH US TO MAKE SURE THE SERVICE & FOOD WAS MORE THAN WE EXPECTED.
WE DINE THERE EVERY FEW WEEKS & IF YOU HAVE A SPECIAL OCCASION THAT IS THE PLACE TO HAVE IT.

Had my cousins 40th birthday here and it was awesome. Good food, decent selection of beers. And very friendly staff. All were very attentive. I'll go again!

Great food, the sweet butter that comes with the bread is sooo good. & I had the homemade lobster ravioli.the chef did a amazing job!

This year again we decided to bring in Thanksgiving Dinner versus cooking and ordered/picked up from Palmer’s. It was Exceptional, Ready to Serve and DELICIOUS. Our family and guests commented on how awesome it was! And we were especially THANKFUL- we didn’t have to cook on Thanksgiving and the fact that they offered this we felt was just terrific. The Cream of Turkey soup was a HUGE HIT & the Turkey & of the all sides were cooked to perfection. Thankful to Palmer’s!

This was our first time here as a family for Thanksgiving Day dinner. Everything was excellent! From the butternut squash soup to the classic turkey dinner with sausage stuffing and four vegetable sides including: candied yams, creamed turnips mashed potatoes and creamed peas and pearl onions, all served family style. We chose the apple cobbler dessert which was delicious!
Our waiter was very attentive and warm and funny as well. (Can't remember his name now.)
Bob the owner paid a visit to our table to see how we were doing and we gave him five thumbs up. Very nice gentleman, he shared his many years there as owner. We will definitely come back again!

Food was dynamite and the service was great. We had the lamb and 2 pasta dishes tiramisu and creme brulee. 5*

The food wasn't too good. The menu selection was very limited. To pay, you couldn't split the bill amongst different cards so one person had to pay for the entire bill. Wasnt very accommodating. Wouldn't recommend.

We hosted our holiday staff thank you dinner at Palmer's last night. There were 17 people and they placed us in the back room. This was wonderful because it gave us extra space and was quiet enough to hear each other speak. Our wait staff did a great job with correctly bringing all dinners, and the various drinks everyone ordered. The food was delicious, and with the premium sit down package, very plentiful. Everyone had a great time, and we are already talking about coming back next year. Thank you for your hospitality.

Wonderful food and people I always feel happy once entering this restaurant and even when leaving, great food, you might find it little pricey but it is worth every bite, I’ll load some pictures or you can see yourself, all respect you at all time.

Went to a murder mystery comedy dinner.
Food was good actors was great. We all had a great time.thank you palmers

Great salads, the best fried calamari I've had in months but, a very overcooked salmon!
The staff however are great and the bar is good! Wish there was a greater wine selection!
Still, a great place!
