Papa John's Pizza reviews
13I have always liked this franchise. The one in Ithaca is the best. The one in Syracuse on James street has really gone down hill. The past 3 times I went there two times it took over seven minutes for them to answer the phone. The past two times there the pizza was cold in the middle and still doughy. You are going to keep losing customers if they continue to act like they don’t care.
Nicole helped me order a delicious two topping pizza over the phone and made sure was made with BBQ sauce and not tomato paste, for allergy reasons. When I came in with my child, she made sure I had plates, forks and napkins, so my child didn't make a mess in my vehicle. Great Pizza and great service, thanks to Nicole. Will now be going back again soon.
The guy I talked to was extremely rude very unprofessional told me he could care less wouldn’t give me his name I was over charged the pizza I ordered was 15.99 told me I should have order on line was charged 28 for a pizza that was sub par I will be calling corporate Monday
I love to support local businesses especially when they are for the last Papa John's location in the entire Syracuse area and happen to be near where I live now. Anyways they have delicious pizza and very nice employees.
THIS IS LONG BUT PLEASE READ ALL.
I want to start by saying this was my first time ordering any kind of food online. I have a very distinct dislike for the practice. I order food out to be served not to assist in the serving. I ordered online because that was the only way to get promo price and my mom was having trouble doing so. Upon examining pizza it wasn't to my liking TOO MUCH sauce, skimpy toppings towards middle. I went in and explained and told them it wasn't there fault because of my online order errors (again first time) but it wasn't to my liking. Was told i had to pay for another. Successfully proved my point and got an agreement for a free replacement. Manager walked away shaking head and scoffing at which time i asked for a refund given her response. I no longer felt comfortable with her prepping my food out of sight. The cashier did say manager was wrong and apologized numerous times. Despite previous statement refund was refused. Unfortunately my mother was unaware of the goings on and started eating, I am unaware of how many slices in the car. I left pizza in restaurant called there corporate number and am filing dispute with card company.
Disrespectful they completely brunt my two mediums pizzas and won’t refund and remake the pizza called and told them about the situation refuse to make it right and hang up on me
Manager rob at James Street store is a complete liar and should NOT BE A MANAGER. SO SORRY FOR PAPA JOHNS.he threw my food on my front lawn then when I called about my delivery he said he delivered it to me.yet he completely lied and threw it in my front lawn and he told me if I dont. Like it call corporate.so I did.he refunded my food.now a can't order from there cause I'm scared MANAGER ROB WILL SPIT IN MY FOOD THEN DELIVER IT TO MY Front LAWN
Great local franchise. Kathy, Daniel, and David are great managers and are extremely nice people who run a professional but fun workplace. Food is fresh and quality. Clean and positive envirorment.
I love their pizza and would have done 5 stars but the unprofessional workers made me not want to come back. They were being inappropriate.
Forget little Ceasers/Pizza Hut/Dominos etc. Ive been a regular at Papa on James for the 3 years. The pizza’s are perfect as advertised and made fast Service A+
I was really disappointed after receiving my NY Style pizza. The crust was so regular. I was really looking forward to that style pizza and thought it'd be really good but when I called to inquire the manager told me not everything is gonna look how it is on TV.
Crust and sauce we both sub-par compared to other locations, customer service was lacking, and the jalapeno popper roll thing was terrible
