Malaysian Restaurant PappaRich reviews
17Very poor representation of Malaysian food. Just awful to be honest. Could be so much better. So many better restaurant options elsewhere in flushing than to come eat here. Never coming back here again. All dishes were subpar.
Delicious and pretty much authentic.
Team members and management are all very friendly.
Their food is taste of the good is rich and flavorful and food came fast. Delicious during any day or any season. Everything is well price and very affordable. And you have to try the roti dessert! It was just impeccable so delicious and a great way to end of the meal!
Delicious Malaysian food! Ordered the seafood laksa which tasted out of this world! The staff were very friendly. The seating area was comfortable and spacious!
Love the place! The food is sooo good and the service is great too. Everything came out super quick and the flavors were amazing
We love their dishes, every time back in flushing we love visiting papa rich! Ordered beef rendang, chicken curry, Hainan chicken, vegetarian curry noodles, and mix satay, roti. Everyone was happy and super full! Best part the price is so reasonable vs in Maryland! But in Maryland we don’t have this kind of Malaysian food! Authentic and tastes so good!
My first time here was pretty good, enough to make my family and I come back. Good food. Good prices. Decent service. Nice outside view. The second time was just disappointing. The dishes kept coming out at different times. Everyone was done with their food by the time my dish came out, which was V2, just flat noodles with veggie… something I could get at a Chinese takeout place for less money and same portion. I have no idea how or why it took 50 mins for V2 to make it to my table when like I said, it’s extremely basic. Takes maybe 10 minutes to make at home. The skewers, which they tell you requires a 20 minute wait time, came out quicker than V2. The pumpkin with salted egg tasted inedible to my friend who ordered it, you must have the acquired taste of loving that bloody taste that egg yolks give off when they’re very cooked. I wouldn’t recommend that dish to just anyone. I wish they would offer the fried pumpkin without the salted egg yolk grated on top, that would make a great appetizer especially for the autumn season. I would come back here again because of the tasty food and decent prices, but I would get it to-go and wouldn’t waste my time dining in. Very, very slow service. Perhaps the waitresses get too many tables at once and more employees are needed. The roti desserts were okay, they’re the same roti as the savory ones, just served differently, so that was a bit off-putting because we didn’t care to eat more of the same roti we had with our entrees, but with bananas and ice cream. We went somewhere else for dessert this time.
Malaysian Restaurant with interesting Appetizers like Roti and Hunan chicken. The coffee is good also.
Everything was very delicious! Will be back to try other dishes. Highly recommend the roti canai, half chicken, noodles and watermelon juice.
Food and drinks are one of the best variety that I ever had, customer service is good too. They just have to be careful giving the right order and make sure the check is right.
Paparich was an exquisite experience with the BEST Hainanese chicken I've had. This Malaysian restaurant had a huge selection of food and drinks. We also got their roti canai which came with three different sauces, char kway teoh, and a bunch of drinks.
An authentic Malaysian food shop in Flashing. The food is tasty. The shop is clean and friendly.
I came with a friend who recommended this place. 5 stars is the overall review. Food might be 4ish but prices are friendly, portion is reasonable, and they take card! (U know it’s Flushing here!)
We had rice with fried chicken, beef, shrimp, and the Indian style nann with sauce.
All flavors were good, I like the shrimp the most. And the sac uses came with nann.
I had the soybean milk with jelly as my dessert. The house made syrup tasted special and good!
First of all, the restaurant layout is unexpectedly weird. You go in and the first sight is the kitchen, storage shelves for containers and restaurant supplies, and then the cashier. You can see the staff preparing vegetables next to your table. It's like they extend the kitchen and storage room into the dining area. The outdoor dining area will be better if you don't care about the dust, wind and sun shine.
Waitresses can speak Cantonese and Mandarin.
Overall tastes are good. Foods were served fast. We recommend this place and we'll go back again.
Food here was truly flavorful and delicious! They have a big selection of items on their menu, and I am definitely looking forward to going back and trying more of their stuff!
Always a great time here. Curry chicken or Hainanese Chicken with yellow rice are my go to. Must order the ABC dessert and ask for it to come now instead of at end of meal as it makes a great icy “drink”. Outdoor seating also available. Indoor is clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and quick. Will be back!
