Great central location with subway station immediately adjacent to property. Three streets to Central Park, five easy blocks to Columbus Circle, two Avenues from 5th Avenue shopping. Very easy 10 minute walk to Times Square and the Theatre district.

Great central location, but even after requesting Housekeeping because we were staying two nights, it was not done. After returning from a long day, beds unmade, no towels, trash etc. Went to Front Desk for towels as the phone in the room did not work either. Tub overflow cap would not stay in position. Very, very low wattage light bulbs in the lamps which made it extremely difficult to read.

Honestly this place is terrible. The cleaning ladies are thieves and they steal your stuff be careful. They don’t even clean properly. They don’t offer you any water even in the hotel room there is no water bottles to be purchased. The suite which I paid so much for is ridiculously small and the front desk Service is absolutely disgusting. If I could rate it zero stars I would. The elevators take so long to come to your floor and you are treated so badly by hotel staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone and if you’re thinking about staying at Park Central Hotel, DONT.

Very disappointed by this Hotel. The only Great aspect of the hotel is the location, very close to everything but beside this, this hotel is old, overpriced.room are old, dark. Elevators are extremely busy - had to wait 10 minutes for an elevator. No coffee machine in the room for a Premium King as specified by reservation dpt over the phone. Heater in the room extremely noisy. This was my first and last stay in this hotel.unfortunately. You do not have what you pay for.

The Park Central has been my family's go-to hotel for at least a decade, and we often recommend it to our friends. Unfortunately I think it may be time for us to find a new NY home. The hotel lacks many typical hotel amenities (limited cafe hours - which meant no coffee on mornings it was closed, no late night quick snacks) (no bellman to assist with hailing a cab for the airport early morning) (heating and a/c were subpar - it was warm one night and cold the other) (keyless check in did not work) (no bar) (no working plugs near the bed to charge phones etc. - plugs were across the room with outdated charging stations on the desk, plug on the light did not work) (the leatherette cover under the mattresses were ripped and torn). Overall, I think the hotel needs to invest in some updating to keep it competitive. One the positive side - it has a great location, the rooms were clean and quiet.

I frequent NY and this was the worst experience by far. First off, the hotel has bed bugs. Do not stay here. There is also no room service and hotel employee Elizabeth was very dismissive and rude. Do not stay here. Completely ruined my trip. They said I would be contacted regarding the bed bug “investigation” and of course I was not contacted. I showed pictures and videos and they refused to literally take 5 min to go look in the room. I am disgusted. Do not stay here.
Update: I was charged twice for this bed bug infested stay.

Do not stay here. The customer service is horrendous — they never get back to you unless you hound them for over a month. All I was asking for was a receipt of my room!

The rooms were dark and smelly. The carpet had many stains. Also, the location is not the greatest. Very close to Times Square. At least they could put a coffee pot in the room.

Subpar hotel at best.

Great hotel! Upscale with a great location and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay and would come again. The only reasons it's not a 5 is they only place one person at the front desk during the busiest times which means long lines for guests. No communication about amenities so unless you research what the hotel offers you wouldn't know. (not even a pamphlet). Our rooms were comfortable and clean, well appointed.

Our room was incredibly hot and muggy. I notified the front desk twice of a 10 hour period and they said an "engineer" was coming to fix it, but no one ever showed up. Also, the little cafe in the lobby had very limited hours, it was impossible to grab a quick cup of coffee in the mornings.

I’ve stayed in many hotels since I travel to NYC often. This time was for my birthday and my first time staying at this hotel.

You will be charged $100 per day for your stay as a deposit for incidentals. There is no room service or dining at this hotel.

The front desk staff and house keeping staff are pleasant while you stay but read more for what happened after….

The rooms are bigger than your typical NYC hotel standard rooms but they are hot and stuffy and nearly impossible to control the temperature.

The elevator takes ages to come and if you are placed on a high floor expect long wait times.

After I had checked out, I was credited my deposit back but, once I checked the next day I was charged over $200 to my credit card.

I have been calling this hotel for the last two days looking for answers as to why I am getting charged. (No damage to the room considering that I was BARELY in it, No dining or room service to be charged to my room since none of this is available, and I was not driving so absolutely no valet charges).

No one seems to have answers for me in the guest service team and the front desk did not and has not sent me a bill regarding these charges. I’ve called to speak with billing and not once has someone answered the phone.

Very unfortunate since my hotel stay itself was not a bad one but this back tracking experience is an absolute nightmare. The lack of customer service and accountability with this establishment is not at par.

Extremely frustrating, upsetting, and unprofessional.

They refuse to give back the incidental hold. They are extremely hard to get ahold of. Even after a month of trying to get my money back, I have yet to hear from them. Great location, I'll give them that much. But good luck, because they probably won't give back your deposit. I will be taking you guys to small claims court.

Lovely boutique hotel. Reasonable price considering the exquisite location. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Never waited more than 5 minutes for an elevator (6 nights on 9th floor). The bar was still closed due to coronavirus but the coffee shop had plenty of options for morning beverages. Also, plenty of nearby restaurants with to-go options so no need for room services. Will stay again!

Amazing hotel in one of the best locations in the Heart of New York. Walking distance to Central Park and Times Square, plus the accommodations are spectacular. The rooms looked great and I literally have nothing negative to say about the experience.

First time in NYC! Great accommodations, friendly and helpful staff - recommended good authentic eateries, etc. Perfect location for our purposes. Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, Fifth Avenue shops, tons of restaurants were all within walking distance. Overall a great experience!

Perfect location. Minutes to time square and Central Park. The subway is at the corner. Stayed here twice with no issues!
