Room at 45th close to elevator machinery room might be noisy.wiew on the Central park is amaizing.

The BEST hotel we’ve stayed at in NYC! As we arrived we were greeted by bell attendants / door men as they helped us with our bags and told us where the front desk was. After checking in, the bell attendants transported our luggage and came with us to our room. When our room door opened we were in so much awe of the panoramic view overlooking Central Park during sunset! The peaceful ambience of the room was complemented by singing birds from the TV and nature inspired decor. It felt like home! We spent about an hour or more taking pictures in front of the window.

Next, we arrived to our 6: 00 PM reservation at the Darling rooftop lounge. The waitresses sat us at a table with views of the incredible skyscrapers. Drinks were great!

After temporarily leaving for dinner we came back to the room with warm and comforting lighting from behind the bed heads. The chirping birds helped us fall asleep so easily!

In the morning, Central Park was covered by thick fog but cleared up a little bit later. We decided to order in-room breakfast and it was wonderful! Nothing better than enjoying breakfast together in the comfort of our room with spectacular panoramic views of Central Park!

Checking out of the hotel was difficult because we really enjoyed our stay and wished we could stay longer! They offered to store our bags before checking in to our next hotel which was what we needed.

The hotel probably has the best price/performance ratio of all hotels directly at Central Park. The rooms are very large, the view from the “Panorama” rooms is fantastic. Service is ok - but no comparison to 5 star hotels - the rooms are very clean, but the carpet is a bit old. The bathrooms are probably new for this. By the way, unlike The Pierre, Mandarin Oriental and Essex House, it has twin rooms with park views.

Can not beat the location. Right next to Central park and close to 5th ave. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. I would stay there again. Only disappointment was the bar closed at 11pm on a Friday night.that is quite early for NYC.

I expected more for this price if I'm honest. I understand the price is mostly due to the location but the carpet is really dreadful and the bathroom has nothing in it other than soap and shampoo. Downstairs is busy and noisy and they add music on top of it. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. No noises issues.
The breakfast view is however unbeatable, overlooking the Park.

The Park Lane Hotel, located directly on Central Park in the business district of Midtown Manhattan, is just a stone's throw away from Fifth Avenue shopping, Broadway theaters, the Museum Mile, Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, and many other New York activities and attractions. For me, it's always the perfect starting point to explore the city. Even after my third visit, I still feel very comfortable and welcome here. The staff is extremely courteous, and the atmosphere is simply unbeatable. Highly recommended!

One of my worst hotels stay. Hotel is old and extremely noisy. Rooms / Corridors are smelly. It was way too dark in the hotel in the evening. Breakfast at 75USD! A/C is noisy in the room and no complementary water as well. Very bad overall experience. No late check-out possible after 12am. The hotel is way too busy and very expensive for what you get. Definitely not worth the money. Doesn’t deserve the 4 stars either.

This hotel deserv one star no more just because of the view at Central Park and its even not the best. Also not safe there is no security anybody can use the elevator & go up. I found a drunk homeless front of my room at 4 am.will never put a foot again at this hotel.

They charge 70$ if you want to go the rooftop even If you get a suite, ridiculous.

Booked 6 nights to celebrate my birthday & the anniversary of our first date with my partner. Worst experience we had in a hotel and we travel a lot, there is no standing at all. Doesn’t recommend to stay there if you are looking for a memorable stay or to celebrate something.

First with the checking, we arrived at 4pm and the room was not ready. We had to wait for almost 1h at the reception, after an 8 hours flight, without any apologies or welcome drink. Any introduction about the hotel, the facilities, any recommendations or even question about our stay/celebration.

Anyway we got the room, panomaric suite view with a stunning view on Central Park. We called the room service just to get 2 glasses of champagne and it took them 40 minutes to bring them to our room… And basically don’t expect anything to be served less than 40/60mn, the room service is very very slow with a poor choice of menu…

Then about the hospitality they really need to get a training since there is absolutely no service in this hotel or special attention to feel at least a bit considered as a valued guest and not just a room number.

For my birthday I asked a lighter to light my birthday cake they advise me to go get one at the supermarket… any letter or special attention for my birthday…

The conciergerie doesn’t take in consideration our request when we ask something. We have to ask at least few times to get an update, except Sergio who gave us a real concierge service and was very professional, which we are thankful! But the rest of the team is a disaster.

To end up Park Lane has a good potential to be a very nice hotel with guests who will feel valued and came back often but they prefer to do not care about their guests and have a lot of attitude when you complain instead to apologise. Very very disappointed about our stay.

This hotel it's a disaster in term of service.you have to wait at list 1h if you order anything with the room service, better to order with uber eat if you are hungry in the middl of the night.

From the reception to the concierge they got a lot of attitude and they really don't care about guests with is pitty. We had to ask things at list 3 times to be taken in concideration.

Don't expect any hospitality or service. The standing doesn't match with the location and the website/ instagram. Once you check-in and be charged you are just a room number.also we get few fraud tentative from our credit card that we left in the room during our stay.defo don't recommend this hotel.bad staff / no security / no hospitality. Doesn't worth a penny.

Mine and my friends credit card numbers were stolen off of our credit cards from our purses we left in the room while we were out for a wedding. Management acted very concerned and then never followed up. I do not recommend staying here or leaving any valuables in your room.

I was in town for a wedding with my friend and our credit card information was stolen from both our credit cards that were left behind in the room.all online charges from wayfair, bed bath and beyond and walmart.over 5k! I do not recommend leaving anything of value visible.very disappointed how management handled this issue.

Nice, stylistic, clean rooms. The bed was comfortable but the pillows are awful- super squishy. I asked for new/different pillows but they were awful, too. After asking for firmer pillows I was told that these were the only kind they had. The shower was a good size. The bathroom has no storage at all, and a small counter top. A drawer or two would have been nice. Great locastion- I felt safe the whole time. The rooftop breakfast staff is fantastic.

Great location. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE customer service. Couldn’t even get a glass of water delivered to the room. Even tried paying for bottles of water and we’re told it would take over and hour to get it. Room AC didn’t work and couldn’t get a hold of the from desk or manager for 2 hours. Every time we called customer service they would tell us they contacted the manager or front desk and would hear from them soon but then we never heard from them! The girl at the front desk wouldn’t even make eye contact with us. They closed the room top bar early and wouldn’t even let us up to see the view. Waste of money. (Also roof top is closed for multiple days of the week which is ridiculous!)
UPDATE: Can’t even provide a car to the air port or French fries

The location is absolute perfection.we chose a king panoramic room and the Vista was incredible.service is outstanding

very helpful people at the front desk.we did have to deal with a manager as our first room did not have proper air conditioning, but it was resolved relatively quickly and we were pleased.we did not dine or drink in the hotel (we did pass through darlings.that's definitely a miss).

interesting to know that. Leona Helmsley lived on the penthouse floor after her stint. That's pretty cool history.love love, love the Le Labo toiletries.every time you walked through the lobby it smelled like Santal 33!

The towels were super comfortable as was the bed and the sheets.definitely look forward to returning to this hotel!
