7Faded historical marker and poor shade. Nor is there a restroom or even a dense bush to use! There is an emergency telephone, which I imagine’s been used to ask where’s the nearest roll of Charmin!
It's. A rest stop. It has a spot to stop and rest, which is what I have done on occassional. It can wait, text while here, or nap if you are feeling exhausted.
It's a parking spot on the Thruway. It does what it needs to do.
It's a no frills rest area off the highway where you can close your eyes for some sleep, stretch your legs or send a text. There is an emergency phone there although I didn't check that it works but it seemed to be in good shape.
I did feel comfortable there and it atmosphere was NOT creepy. Obviously if you are going to sleep you should lock your doors.
We have pulled off here many times. There is nothing other then parking. Just a spot to rest or make that phone call or send that text you needed too. We have seen chickens randomly roaming the lot on more than one occasion
Good spot to take a break from driving or to do whatever you can't do while your driving. BTW there is no facilities or any soda machines etc.there is a phone for emergencies
Nap time. Go figure. 45 min.nap on a 8 hour road trip. Peaceful spot. Who reviews rest stops? Now we know.
