Parkview Diner reviews
13My server was amazing, But the manager I observed male wearing a button down either tan, grey or blue pants has the rudest most awful mannerisms I ever seen. A nice polite woman came in to do an interview for the server position he didn't even shake her hand. He barely gave her eye contact, and his tone that he spoke to her with was subpar. She at some point saw that he was a disrespectful ignorant manager and she wasn't going to waste her time, so she stood up and said if you don't want my work I can look elsewhere. I cannot stand seeing terrible interviewing skills from the one doing the interviewing. It really affected my experience. Luckily the waitress I had was amazing and the staff was incredible. Hope the manager can change his attitude it could affect his business completely.
One of the last 24 hour old school diners in Brooklyn, standard diner fare with some cool editions served quick with friendly service!
They gave me spoiled clawslaw on my take out order never eating here again and i suggest everyone stop eating here
This place is amazing the food was great amazing. The service was just as good very attentive. Will definitely come back.
Very nice staff one of the last diners around. My friends and I always enjoy ourselves at thos diner
Did uber eat omelette cheese burger waffle and icecream didnt send ice cream sent no utensils and they when i called supposedly they follow a law to not send utensils or salt didnt send the icecream either waste of money and time cheeseburger tasted like left over what is there a law to send no napkins too and they didnt send my chocolate cake worst store to order from
I ordered a Philly steak cheese omelet. No steak is to be found. The pancakes were watered down and had a weird taste. The home fries tasted strange, not good or great. I'm not trying anything else if they can't make a simple breakfast.
Food was delicious, service impeccable, but the silverware was dirty and food under the table.
Absolutely looooove coming here. One of Brooklyn's "real" diners. Open 24 hours and food is good no matter what you order. Meatloaf, good. Burgers, good. Cappucino, excellent. Lemon Meringue pie, drool worthy. Pancakes are bussin' (that means good) lol. Oh and I don't know where they get those cheese danishes.they're amazing!
Parkview Diner is such a wonderful diner, and one of the only ones I know of in that general area of Gravesend. The food is always really good, and arrives quick. The service is great as well, you're treated with care and attention, which only adds to the great food. My only complaint is that our table could have been a little cleaner, but that's never the other times I went, so I still HIGHLY recommend this place. I LOVE their pancakes and sausage, and their sandwiches and challah French toast are also must haves. I hope this place is here to stay. Many great diners have left New York, and it's sad to see them go, being replaced by overly expensive condos or lesser food chains. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL DINERS! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH! They need the money. If every diner closes, that will be a very sad day.
Finally got to eat here - sign said they're the best diner - and I agree! I had a mushroom & Swiss cheese omelet, with real hash browns, and a side of perfectly done bacon (crispy with a little cheese left!) - it was all excellent! I recommend this diner!
I learned I could park in the grocery parking lot if necessary.
Used to be much nicer. Needs an update. Greek omelette was mediocre. Coffee very good. Easy parking. Slow service.
The food was overpriced and absolutely horrible. So I got a grilled chicken salad and the dressing seemed old and lemony. $17 for 3 pieces of iceburg lettuce cut up, and although I asked for well-done chicken, it came out pale literally 30 seconds beyond pink. The water is unfiltered tap water that had an off-putting taste. I was very disappointed and I sont recommend nor will I ever be back. I don't see any redemption in their future. The nicest part is the atmosphere and location. My friend got a bacon egg and cheese, and he said the bread was good. My other friend got a Belgium waffle with cheesy eggs and sausage. He enjoyed his meal. We all hated that nasty water. For a $76 bill, they really should have a filter or bottles of water.
