Parkway tennis courts - Some observations

-Courts are surrounded by stones, so kids throw them on the courts. Nobody cleans them. Why aren't the walkways paved? Maintenance people ignore you if you ask that the stones be cleaned. Calling the city is ignored too.

-Six courts have grass behind them which gets all the balls wet, either from dew in the morning or after it rains.

-Some courts are full of black scum from never being cleaned – these courts are unusable because they're so slippery.

-Court nets are never at the correct height, so people twist the net hook at the bottom to adjust it. This is a quick easy way to adjust them, but it's not the correct way.

-Some court nets are either broken or their hookup in the ground is broken.

-People bring dogs on the courts. Some people use the courts as a track for jogging or walking. Some people use the courts to party on and leave a mess.

-There's a cement backdrop on some courts (6) so that when the serves are out, they bounce off the cement and come back onto the court.

-People don't know tennis court etiquette - there should be a sign.

-In some areas, there are only short fences, so the balls go over them easily. Why didn't they install all tall fences.

-Seniors get kicked off the courts for kids’ tournaments - could they at least put up signs saying when the courts will be unavailable due to tournaments?

-The whole second row, 6 courts, is so uneven that the day after it rains, the courts are full of puddles and are unplayable. Other courts are affected too and we have to clean them with brooms and squeegees.

-Why were the fence openings built at the furthest points away from the building? If someone has to use the rest room, it takes a long time to go all the way around the courts.

-Need to put up security cameras.
