Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts reviews
17We had a great time at this theater seeing Newsies.easy location for strolling to dinner before the show and they have friendly staff and a nice lobby gathering area with bar for before or during intermission. This was a Broadway caliber performance in a beautiful theater!
I attended my youngest granddaughter's dance recital.
The staff treated the performers as well as the viewers with attentiveness and politeness.
Great show, classic theater, staff was friendly. Drink prices were pretty high and the seating is very outdated. In today's world it's time to update and make seating that you are not sitting on top of your neighbors
My wife and I went here for a Colin Mochrie improv comedy show. Fantastic venue! Beautiful interior, kind and helpful employees. Brad and Colin were great too! We would definitely go to a show here again in the future!
Great theatre, store was great, feels like part of local history, only downside is parking
Went to see Bruce Campbell on April 15th. The seats are a little small so if you are on the big side like me, you are going to have a hard time. The first part of the show went great, the audio and lighting were perfect. The second part was watching the movie "Army of Darkness". The volume was very loud and almost made it painful to watch during action scenes. Anytime some one would leave, which happened multiple times, the light would pour in and whitewash the screen. This is because the lights are placed right outside the door. Since this is a theater that usually does stage shoes, it probably isnt a problem 90% of the time. I would recommend this place unless you are on the big side or if you are seeing a presentation where it will be mostly dark.
We have been here many times for a variety of shows and are always pleased. Last show was Judy Collins who was outstanding. Cozy intimate atmosphere and affordable prices.
Beautiful place. Friendly and helpful staff. We need more places like this one in Long Island.
Very nice and the staff was very helpful and welcoming, the sound quality was impeccable will most definitely be returning in the near future.
Very nice theater. Drinks available from bar to bring to your seat. Clean bathrooms.
Ticket pricing about average for local theater. Pretty much what you need from a local theater.
Whatever you do, don't go if you're disabled. A crowd of 20 congregated, Standing over us. The staff did nothing. The management couldn't care less. Bad experience all around.
Very nice large venue. Great alternative to the bar scene. Great seating. Huge stage. National acts. Great micro brewery beers. Perfect place. Great town for dinner before hand. Para Bella next door you won't be disappointed.
Love this venue! Small, no bad seats and being right in Patchogue with so many choices for food or drinks before or after.
Loved every part of it, beautiful place, clean, and well organized. Staff was very courteous as well.
Wasn't expecting how beautiful this place is. Hidden gem in Patchogue. Check it out! We had a lot of fun.
Very nice venue.full bar and snacks in lobby.beautiful classic 100 year old theater.seats about 1,000 people comfortably.one of the nicest old theaters left.
