Supermarket Patel Brothers reviews
21Pretty small and crowded. Most items they advertise on “sale” are always conveniently “out of stock”. Also they don’t accept the sale advertised by other Patel affiliates which is not proper!
This is a good place for getting South Asian groceries (mostly Indian). Parking is always difficult to find as this is store is on a busy road and no dedicated parking lot.
Prices are very reasonable definitely will visit there again.i recommend my friends and family also.
Crowded but, organized. There is no meat section but, they do offer basic groceries in varieties. In terms of safety, would not recommend that you go there if you are not yet vaccinated for covid-19.
However, they are fast and reliable in terms of service. Customer service is decent. They take some time to understand what you are saying sometimes but, that can be overlooked. If you are looking for varieties in vegetables and some fresh produces, you can choose from there.
The employees are very helpful and friendly. The vegetables are fresh unlike some other nearby stores.
I like shopping there because they have the things I need.good price and the stuff are very friendly and helpful
I bought 2 boxes of sweets. One was good. The other, when I opened it, looked half empty. I wasn't sure if it was packed that way, so I tasted it, and it wasn't good. The experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively. Although, they have a policy of no returns or exchanges because of COVID-19, once I explained it to them about the bad box, they did allow me to get another sweet box of same monetary value. Before you buy anything there, make sure it's sealed properly.
They have good products but the aunties who work the front have a bad attitude. They want customers they need have better customer service
Granted it's a grocery store so bugs are expected but I feel like this location has an exceptional amount of mosquitoes lingering around. The produce does not appear to be fresh it looks like it's been sitting around for a long time and is overpriced. The main staff there is exceptionally rude. Poor old men are overworked. There is a $0.50 to $1 markup on things versus the two grocery stores in the neighbouring area like Maharaja and Anna Bazaar. Their Jackson Heights location is even cheaper
Patel Brothers these days don’t have any variety other than Swad their native brand. Off late I see them selling products with no manufacturing dates. They seem to know that but still continue to sell them like they didn’t notice. Sometimes they even rub off the original date and paste new dates. This seems to be their practice across stores. I wouldn’t go if I had option.
Went in here today, it's nice, I found something I have been looking for a very long time, I was happy, but the employees was not very friendly, or welcoming,
All of the Indian food and cooking supplies you could want. Good produce at excellent prices. Parking is a problem.
Another convenient location of Patel Brothers where one can buy south Asian (Indian) groceries, vegetables & spices.
Clean Indian grocery market! Lots of selections on Indian ethnic food options with decent prices.
I hate the staff specially old man i dnt know about him but he don’t have sense how to speak with customer
Cheap rates on a bunch of groceries, nice Indian music along with friendly staff. You can't beat that.
One of the better Indian supermarkets out there! Clean, good sales, great selections, street parking only so evening rush hour is a bit of a pain
South Asian varieties and almost all groceries can be found here. Free, affordable and good quality
Nice staff and great price
Easy check out
Most products have English on them so you can understand
Lots of varieties of vegetables, spices, nuts, fried fruits and snacks
