Dined in and the greeting guy didn’t check my vaccination proof, even though I am fully vaxxed it lets me worry about if other customers are fully vaxxed or not. The sitting place inside is not very clean and kind of disordered. The service is okay, the tea selection is unique, but the food is terrible. I had the eggs benedict and the hashbrown on the base is…even worse then than the grocery store or bakery style hashbrown. It doesn’t work well with the spinach, salmon and eggs to make a dish to a perfection level considering it costs $19.won’t be back

Great ambience! Wonderful service (thanks Jason)! Pain Perdu is absolutely sublime - presentation definitely matches the taste! Pistachio & Raspberry Eclair and Blood Orange & Earl Grey Chocolate Mousse are amazing! Everything was so spot on! So coming back!

Gorgeously glitzy interior with row upon row of beautiful French pastries. Little tables out front with umbrellas at which to enjoy your sweet treats. They serve probably the most professional-looking desserts I've ever seen. A box would impress even the most discerning foodie. Choose from exclaims and tarts. All simply mouthwatering. You just can't make a wrong choice. Definitely worth the trip.

Absolutely average pastries, took a croissant and a lemon bun, both were stale, probably made many hours ago. Super expensive as well. The staff was friendly though. Really disappointed after seeing so many good reviews.

Wonderful food and service! This was my second time here - I had come previously for the butter croissants, which are one of the best I’ve had in the city.

Today, my friend and I dined here with outdoor seating. There’s a big umbrella overhead to prevent overheating. (Indoor seating is available too, FYI.) The French toast was DELICIOUS - the subtle chili and lime made it unique. I’m not generally a fan of French toast but would definitely order this again.

We also got pastries - the pistachio raspberry eclair (nice and light) and chocolate earl grey mousse cake (impressive infusion of the earl grey). Both were gorgeous. Our compliments to the chefs!

Our waiter Jason was extremely nice and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Staff is friendly and professional. Pastries are amazing! If price is of concern to you, this is not the place for you.lol. I think it's worth every penny.

Creative selection of dessert pastries. The decorations on their cakes and pastries were absolutely top notch and I really enjoyed their tarts. My favorite was the fig tart, but their mango chocolate combination on one of the cakes was also amazing.

Chanson on 23rd between 5 and 6 Avenues.
Come and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee with a hand full of choices, from chef made pastries (Beautiful creations) to their specialty made sandwiches (Low Fat of course) and a fully loaded Barista room. So if your looking for a quick breakfast or an afternoon bite then Chanson is the place to go and the Staff will treat you as if they known you all their lives.

They have terrible customer service, both times i went.first time they wouldn't separate my order into two bags - if i'm spending 30 bucks on pastries i feel that this is a reasonable request. The second time i went to the store and they told me i had to order online but on their online platform it said the wait for pick up order was 20 minutes and i asked if had to wait 30 minutes, given i was already in the store and there was no one else around, and they said yes.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The Yuki and lemon eclair was life changing. Also really enjoyed the strawberry rose eclair and the mini chocolate eclair. Highly recommended for the desserts so far (I haven't had a meal there) and will definitely come back.

Food was ok. Ice cream was good. If you charge for poached eggs, would be good to have a chef that knows how to make them. Way down hill from last year.

Excellent pastries. If you are not sure what to get, you can buy each pastry in a mini size. We got all of them and they were good.

This is to bring in your notice that I am one of your regular customer who have been driving my wife every weekend from New Jersey to New York for your avocado toast.

Last year during pandemic you guys increased your price from $17-18 to $21 (I was like it’s ok) never questioned your team.

Some times the avocado toast will be extra small again never complained.

However today I came after couple of weeks and I am extremely disappointed as your staff is saying anything extra will be charged. I usually would ask extra orange zest on the side and one extra lime slice on the side.
I was told for the extra zest they will charge me $5!

I mean firstly being one of your regular customer for so long, ideally I should be getting some loyalty benefits (which you guys have none). Ok even if I agree to pay extra for the orange zest (I am speechless on why and how can you justify $5) ? Not only that even for extra lime slice I was told I will be charged.

I am very disappointed as I don’t see any customer service all I see is how we can rip off customers. I am extremely sorry but I have to ask this when do you start charging extra for when we take more than 1 napkins?

I have to leave my review, as I am not happy with the service.

Muhammad Ali

The raspberry and chocolate croissant was incredible. I ordered a chai latte and it was really sweet, so if you don't like a super sweet chai, be forewarned. Go early in the day, as when we got there they were sold out of a lot.

Completely lovely, quiet spot for afternoon coffee / tea meetings in a centrally located area. The pastries are stunning and fresh, and the staff is very friendly. A nice spot to take clients.

Came across this spot, happen to see they have UNLIMITED PROSECCO BRUNCH on the weekends for $55. Which consist of a Brunch Item, Dessert and unlimited Prosecco. We were greeted and seated right away. Our host/waiter Steve was amazing, ran us through the menu and gave amazing recommendations.

Food was delicious, the presentation on top of it was A1. Quality and presentation definitely matched. I would definitely be back!

Perfect delicate eclairs with classic pastry cream or special seasonal flavors. A French eclair with crisp choux pastry is hard to come by right now. So when I found myself near Madison Square Park, I made a beeline to Chanson. There is also array of pretty tarts and layered Kouign Amann, some filled with caramels or fruits.
