Dr. Paul Petrakos is outstanding an ophthalmologist who listens carefully to your concerns and provides expert well considered responses. In my last visit the technicians working with him were all very attentive and helpful, doing a thorough going examination of my eyes. My visit went very smoothly without delay and I walked away feeling very very good about the Weill Cornell Ophthalmology Department.

A checkup with Dr. Petrakos, as have not seen him in 6 months. Told him my left eye was a bit hazy and he recommended a laser procedure to remove a film, doing that on 12 Dec.we went over other tests. Still planning to drive several hrs per trip to see him, as he is very competent, answers my questions, explains everything. Great dr-patient manner.

I met with 5 professionals. All were respectful. The first 3 do various eye tests to compare to last exams. The last 2 prof’l.read the results in addition to examining eyes. I felt welcome to ask questions.

My only experience this time was a very long waiting after the first screening was done by the technician. I had to wait in the waiting area more that an hour to be called to see the doctor!
