Pearl Diner reviews
12Typischer Diner, essen ist super, geht alles sehr flott und ist gut Besucht, Bedienung sher freundlich.
Food was below average, coffee was not great, elderly serving lady was not very customer friendly, very very expensive for sub standard food and drink. Avoid it!
Rude and unhelpful service. The diner was quiet and we asked the staff if we could have a table for 6 as our friends we joining us but they were late. They refused to give us a larger table enev though they had pleanty and when our friends joined they wouldn't let us move to sit with them as we had already been served food. The food itself was the worst diner food I've had so far (been in NYC for three weeks eating at diners every day). Under cooked eggs, bacon was more like ham than bacon, home fries were over cooked and clearly sitting out for a while.when it came to the bill they wouldnt let us split at the checkout dispite our server saying we could split three ways only moments before.
Iconic. This place is what all diners looked like in the past. Reasonably priced, and service was excellent. Felt like a kid again here. If it isn't, this place should definitely be a landmark.
This is a great little diner! I come here ever so often and the food is solid. The service is even better however!
Good old school diner, service was typical new york but don’t let that discourage you. Better than our hotel breakfast (and cheaper). Free coffee refills was a nice bonus. Will visit again.
A place to avoid. Dirty place, poor service and the food cannot be eaten.
There are other options around.
One of the few classic diners left in Manhattan. Friendly service and cheap, good food. Lots of charm. My go-to when I’m hungover
A classic greasy spoon diner.
Great comfort food!
Currently open for breakfast & lunch.
Super glad to see they survived the 2020 Quarantine!
Lovely place with lovely staff. Feels like an authentic diner in the middle of this big city. Prices are decent and the food is great. Coffee was fantastic. I saw some flies hanging around the kitchen on my second visit so I wonder how the hygiene is but I didn't get ill from the food either time so I assume it's okay.
We wanted we like this place so badly. Gave it three tries. While the service it great, the food is subpar. They burn the eggs no matter how you order them. You’re unfortunately better off getting something from the grill from the deli’s close by.
