4 After almost 20 yrs of being a loyal, faithful customer it is time to move on to someplace else. My issue is not with Dr. Maria, she has always been very helpful and professional. I will not go into detail as it is quite lengthy. I had cataract surgery on both eyes and had to have my previous lenses replaced with a new Rx. After a few weeks with the new lenses I went in to have an adjustment made because they were not sitting right on my nose. A member of the staff brought the glasses to the back to adjust, when he returned I noticed a crack on the frame that was not there before. I mentioned it to him and he told me to come back and they would order me a new frame as they did not have 1 in the store.
When I returned I was told by Eric that they were not going to replace them as my warranty was up and they are not responsible if anything happens. I told him it was not my fault and he was very nasty, loud, condescending, not at all professional.trying to make it look like it was. All this taking place right up front at the desk in front of customers. He finally did say that because it was me a customer for so long he would do it, quite reluctantly I might add. Accidents happen, but I was not going to pay for a new frame when it definitely was not my fault.
This was on Nov. 27,2023 and after several calls asking where they were I finally got them Dec. 23,2023.
I and my family members will not be going back there.
They are always so helpful, fast & efficient! Very nice people, definitely the only eye doctor I go to in NYC! Thank you all sooo much!
This was an amazing experience for me. The techs amd doctors were very kind, patient and gentle and I got my prescription and glasses in less than an hour. I would most definitely recommend this place and I will come back.
Unfortunately after coming here for about 7 years, with the new staff and how inexperienced they are I definitely will not recommend this location. Not only do they charge an arm and a leg for little to NO service, they do not accommodate even after being such a loyal customer. DO NOT COME HERE AND DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM!
