The staff is 100% friendly, educated and passionate about their jobs, I have a 20 months twins girls and the medical assistants helped me to hold them and calm them down after the doctor saw them. They were really nice.thank so much for help me with my girls

I've been here a couple of times with my 7 yo who had a few issues. I was nervous for my daughter because she is very sensitive to pain. Thankfully Dr. Tak and staff were very patient with her and when communicating with me very thorough.not condescending at all. Dr. Tak is a down to earth professional that cares about her patients. I definitely recommend Ped Dentistry of the Bronx.

Very great dental office. They were able to give my son an appointment for the same day. When we arrive we only waited 5 mins and he was seen immediately. They dentist said he had loose tooth and ask if i wanted her to take care of it. She made my 9 year old as comfortable as possible. Before he even noticed tooth was out and no more pain. He was shocked on how quick and pain free it was! Thanks so much for everything. We will be back for his checkup in about 6 months!

Don't bring your child here if they have any actual issues with their teeth. The prefer to refer you to other dentists instead of dealing with a child. First visit, was told my son had to have 2 baby teeth pulled and I was referred to another dental facility where he could be put under anesthesia which was fine. However when we returned for his second visit, to put in a spacer, my child age 5 at the time was squirming and fussing a bit. The dentist was visibly getting annoyed and alluded that my child was overly sensitive. During his 3rd routine visit, he had a cavity and the dentist again referred him to another facility - just for a cavity! If I keep being referred to other dentists what is the point of having this one? !

I wish I could give this place 0 stars however, it is not possible. I took my son in January for an evaluation and I never heard back from the office. I called several times to know about the status and every time I called they made me feel like I was bothering them. Today is 4/13/2021 and I am still waiting. I wish I could get my $50 dollar copay back.

I just felt like not all the staff were as friendly. I have a special needs child and his senses are a bit heightened, so anything that makes loud vibrating noises you’d have to at least explain what is being done and kind of give him a little assurance that this is not something that would hurt him. The hygienist that does the brushing was literally like.sit here, and while getting all her items ready and my son was looking around with fear like what is going to happen, I tried talking to him like papa it’s gonna be ok just like in the videos that we watch prior to goin there. She just turned around turn on that brush ok said “ok open your mouth! And I already know that’s was not gonna happen with that whirring sound the brush and no interaction whatsoever ever! At least to say touch it.see it’s nothing to harm you, nothing! Then she proceeded to ask him.how old are you? In the sense that listen I don’t have time for this and you’re way too old for this. The dentist on the other hand was way friendly and started off just like a person in the pediatric field should.

Moral is the dentist who saw my son. She is very caring, asked me what I wanted to happen and made sure my son first experience with this dentist was good and not terrifying. I recommend them

Waiting hours are way too long. I have waited 2 hours To be seen for my 4 years old.they don’t care about your time or social Distancing. 2 star only for the dental assistant and the dentist because they r trying their best to serve you but the receptionist and the way they are managing this place is awful.the receptionists that works in the front they r rude and unprofessional.very disappointed

Great dentist and great staff. My little one was crying and scared and they made every effort to be her friend and cheer her up so that she wouldn't think the dentist office was a scary place. I was at ease and so was she. They addressed all of my concerns before, during and after our visit. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family. In the end my -daughter really loves their treasure box- she’s looking forward to going back. Thanks for the high standard of care!

I would give them no stars if I could. This office claims that they handle emergencies however never bring your child here if they have need of immediate care. They do not have competent dentist that can offer care. First they assume you are not going to pay your bill and not all the dentist accept the insurance that is stated on the website. Second, if your child is in pain and has any fear of the dentist don’t bring them here they do nothing but tell you take over the counter medications and make another appointment. It was a waste of time left with no resolution son still in pain and just an apology. The only positive was the tech that took his xrays she was competent and knew how to handle children.
