Pediatric Dentistry of Flushing, Queens NY

I had scheduled appointment for both of my kids and said that it was for a procedure and not for cleaning. The receptionist called me the day of the appointment and told me that there was an available spot earlier to come in. When we came into the doctors office The receptionist twisted the whole story around so that there was only enough Time for one patient to be treated and another child was getting cleaning done. She said If my child isn’t getting cleaning done he’s not going to being seen by the doctor. My child was in pain for the past three weeks because of his toothache and wasn’t treated on time due to the arrogant rude receptionist who thinks that she owns the place. I informed the in particular not to double book my kids. But they did that’s why Dr. Dara didn’t have enough time to treat my child. The front desk and the bossy rude receptionist is going to drive out all the patients from that practice, which a lot of people have done already unfortunately. I give dr. Dara 5 starts. The receptionist 0 starts the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

THE STAFF IS SO RUDE AND THEY HAVE BAD SERVICE. MY SON WENT HERE FOR BRACES TREATMENT AND WE ENDED UP CHANGING TO SOMEONE ELSE. THE ORTHODONTIST WOULD COME IN FOR LESS THAN THE MINUTE AND SHE WILL LOOK AT THE TEETH AND THEN THE ASSISTANT WOULD DO THE REST. WHEN YOU WOULD ASK HER HOW THE PROCEDURE WAS GOING, SHE WOULD SAY THAT THEY ARE GOING TO COME OFF VERY SOON. IT HAS BEEN 2 YEARS AND SHE HAS BEEN STILL SAYING THAT. HORRIBLE SERVICE. THEY NEVER HAD APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE AND IF YOU MANAGED TO GET ONE, YOU WOULD BE SPENDING 3 HOURS WAITING FOR A 30 MIN APPOINTMENT. ALSO IF YOU BREAK SOMETHING WITH YOUR BRACES AND NEEDED IMMEDIATE CARE, THEY WOULD GIVE YOU SUCH A HARD TIME TO COME IN AND GET IT FIXED.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE!

Absolutely love this place! Definitely recommend! Had procedures and braces from here and they have improved my teeth drastically.

I get my teeth cleaning here every few months and the staff is great. The office is clean and the hygienist Zoya is always amazing. Highly recommend this office.

Wow, wow, WOW! I love this place! We just had our first visit. My daughter was extremely anxious about it. All of the staff, from the reception staff, the dental hygienist, to the doctor were so warm and welcoming. My daughter had such a blast. Everything is super child friendly (they get to choose the animal brush they want to be cleaned with, the scent of the toothpaste they’re going to use on them, they give them stickers which they also have an option to choose from). Best part was at the end of the visit when they surprised her with a balloon in her favorite color. Truly such a wonderful place for kids!

When you call them they not listen you. Even I am their client. Specially front desk are very rude if you call them they are terrible attitude.

Terrible service. I took my two kids here, they gave them a cavity filling and one came out same day and next day the other came out. It was hard to get an appointment for the emergency I had. The receptionist was rude, she kept changing the Doctor I originally had an appointment with. It was all around a bad experience for my kids and I. The only dentist who was good there was Dr. Donna. The other ones seem to have no experience I what they were doing. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. Dara is AMAZING with children, she knows exactly how to handle any child in any situation, shes just simply AMAZING.would recommend her to anyone who has children. LOL

The only reason I keep coming back is that the dentists are amazing with young children. They keep them calm and they are very playful.
The front office staff, although nice, are completely disorganized. I've shown up for appts to be told they have been rescheduled, I've been told about an extra fee for procedure just before it is about to happen (my son prepped in the chair) even though when I scheduled the appt 2 weeks before they never menltioned it (not even when I checked in). I have called and left messages that are never returned or acknowledged. I've waited so long to hear about a spacer that was molded to fit my son's mouth, that we had to take a new impression and go through the whole thing all over again. It's like they just can't handle the volume of patients.

My boys (3 and 6 yrs old) just had their first visit with Dr. Dara. Everyone in the office was so friendly and professional. Our wait was only about 10min and the hygienist greeted my boys with balloons which instantly made them feel more comfortable. Everything was explained to them in a child friendly way, so the entire appointment from the cleaning to the x-rays went smoothly. There were no tears and no anxiety. I’m very happy someone recommended this office to me and I would definitely recommend it to others!

Very busy practice, in quiet neighborhood. Usually not that difficult to find street parking nearby. Impossible to reach by phone, called about 6 times to try make an appointment for my daughters. I called throughout the day on different days and left 2 messages, but never got a call back so I paid them a visit and ended up getting an appointment later that afternoon. Be prepared to wait as we had a 2hr wait past our scheduled time. Would benefit from more toys in the waiting area as well considering their patient population. Hygenist was nice and Dentist was knowledgeable. Make sure to ask for stickers or balloon upon leaving for your child.

I don’t know a bout doctor but at least staff don’t have manner to talk to parents of patients.

I was very pleased with our experience at this dentist! The office was very kid friendly and the staff were pleasant. Dr. Dara was very gentle, positive and deomostrated good dental knowledge.
I came with three children and they used three rooms to speed up the appointment. It’s also very convenient that they have an orthodontist at the same office.

Have been coming here for years w/ our son who's now a teenager, & our daughter. They are great, efficient, professional, & kind. Today, Julie, the hygienist did a great job cleaning our daughter's inflamed gums, & Analía was a delight. Our kids may not look forward to the cleaning, but I'm just happy they're healthy.

I do not advise you to bring children there.after the operation there was a scar near the mouth. I deeply regret taking my children there.

This office was great when it was small and just doctor J.and a few others around. They seem to now only care about expanding and making more and more money. The people working at the front desk aren't too helpful and are even rude. The wait is extremely long, just to wait to see someone who doesn't know what they are doing. They will always find a new problem to make you come back again to take care of. Even if you leave happy you will have to come back after a little while for a problem that was on the first x-ray that they disregarded. I wish I could give a good rating, but sorry, for now alot of changes for the better needs to be done before I'll change this rating for the better.

I brought in my son about two weeks ago as an emergency appointment. My husband I were greeted by a friendly and efficient staff. Now I say efficient because the lady (Irena) in front was on top of everything. We then met Dr. Weiner and she was excellent with our son. She explained all of the treatment options for him and took the time to answer all of our questions. This is a professional dentistry with a kid friendly staff and environment. I highly recommend this place.

His office and staff are very child friendly. Most children feel at ease here. Don't think my 6 yr old daughter would want to go anywhere else. We have been coming here for 3 years.

I love the place. People there are helpful and willing to answer any question I had, without rushing me. My son never likes dentist, however Dr. Jacobson's office made him feel more comfortable and I can really say he has no problem now going to his next appt. Also, there is no waiting time, which is an important thing and easy way to get parking. THANK YOU!
