Beautiful hike for the whole family no matter the time of year. Huge yards, wide trails, much seating, dog- and kid- friendly. Kayaking looks great!

Beautiful place to take a nice hike with your dogs or family. The views are amazing we saw a bald eagle and a deer. Loved sitting and watching the waterfalls absolutely will be going back again!

This is a great place to hike and see some great views of the Mohawk River only 20 minutes from albany. The perimeter trail is a must-see. It's a little less than 2 miles all the way around but you're treated to beautiful vistas of the river, dam, and waterfall. The trail is pretty flat and well maintained. You see some beautiful deer and there is even remnants of encampments by revolutionary war soldiers. There's something here for everyone. This is a great place to walk your dog aswell.

And deer run is full of deer. Friendly to people but, still allittle shy especially the baby deer.

Solid hiking/walking park! Super cool terrain overlooking Hudson/Mohawk river confluence. Very beautiful, perfect for people of all abilities. Always plenty of wildlife including deer, various birds species, turkeys, garter snake, bald eagle, osprey, herons, mallards and geese. Very cool, a common place for us to come stretch out our legs!

I parked at the visitor center. There is the cleanest restroom ever I've seen at the public park. There is a unique one lane bridge here.

Beautiful park, hiking only. Not for young kids. The perimeter trail (2 miles long) goes along a cliff. The trail is mostly flat with many rest areas.

Something for everyone! Accessible views, a fascinating geologic location, and rich with history! Long walks, short strolls, church picnics, and first fishing trips. Nice work NY!

I parked at the visitor center and walked over the bridge to get there. The trail is easy with lots of wildlife and cliff over water views. Bugs were bad so wear spray. It would be a great place to fish. You can rent kayaks and bikes along the canal.

Very nice little park. The point that over looks the falls is particulary relaxing and at least 10° cooler than the surrounding area. And due to the elevation it often has a nice breeze blowing through the area. The deer run trail is the shortest path to it.

Beautiful open landscape. Fishing. Grills and tables. Trees easy to climb. Picturesque. Friendly birds. Perfect for gatherings.

Great for spotting eagles nearly year round, a very nice walking trail that you'll often find deer walking along, with a good view of the river below.

It's been cleaned up and has new trails. Right now the water is very high so worth a trip to see the water level at least.

I went down to photograph the eagles. No luck that day, but there were plenty of deer, ducks and even a Piliated Woodpecker to admire. Beautiful little spot to explore.
