I am a physician. While the clinical services provided were fine, I am completely appalled with the back end services. I reached out several times regarding a bill, for which I established a payment plan for and now 9 months after my last visit I am receiving dunning notices. I have left messages, contacted the physician directly to no avail. I have no problem paying my bills in a timely fashion. What I have issue with is poor customer service and lack of regard for patient’s time. This is really unacceptable.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have met Dr. Reutter at PRM. I had debilitating chronic pelvic pain for over 10+ years. He is a great listener, extremely knowledgeable and acts quickly to help to get you on a treatment plan. Dr. Reutter was the first doctor I met on my medical journey who I instantly trusted. All staff and doctors at PRM are incredible, kind and positive.

I was hesitant to make this appointment initially because of natural embarrassment. But Dr. James from day one made me feel so at ease, comfortable and less embarrassed. She always talked through every step of the exam, which I truly appreciated. She made sure to celebrate my wins/progress as well. I couldn’t recommend Dr. James and Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine center enough to everyone that may need it!

I have been in chronic pain for 20 years, and Dr Reutter is not only the first Doctor to immediately identify where the issue was coming from, but actually provide relief. The staff are all extreme professionals, very gentle and make sure you are super well informed. Unbelievably worth the expense when you live with horrible pelvic pain.

I typically shy away from leaving reviews, especially of a doctor's office, since my name has to go on it, but I would tattoo this review on my forehead if i could.

After 13 years of pain, with so many doctors visits, medications that were treating the wrong thing, physical therapy, more meds, and endless googling to try to figure out what was wrong with me, Dr Neha James saved my life.

I finally decided after having to miss a friend's funeral due to a flare that I was going to tackle this pain once and for all and could no longer live like this.

Dr James is so incredibly smart: she finally provided a diagnosis that made sense. She is also gentle and kind. I am terrified of needles, yet came back for injections week after week. If Dr James was not so nice and wasn't there cheering me on, I could not have done this.

The results feel like a dream. I keep doubting that it's possible to not have constant pain after years with that being my standard of living.

I was at a point of desperation when I decided to visit, but had I known this was the answer all along, I would have ran to Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine way before the pain had reached a level of severity that it did. If you are in doubt, do it. If you don't do it, it will get worse!

Run don't walk to Dr James. I cannot recommend her enough.

Dr Reutter is very talented and compassionate. Honestly one of the best doctors I’ve seen. After dealing with my pain for almost three years, I am relieved to see a doctor who is responsive, addresses my concerns promptly, and finally is healing me!

I’m so disappointed with AAS PHYSIATRY, PC NYC billing department. I haven’t been to see the physiatrist since 2/2023 and now Im magically being billed over $200 for absolutely nothing. Why take advantage of the people who trust you to help them heal?: (I called and no response from the billing department. I’m starting to think I really thought this was a great place.

I am giving this place for the BILLING department and not for the care received. I called 2 weeks ago to speak to someone because I got an EOB for $900K! NO one has called me back and when I spoke to someone and a bunch of excuses. STAY AWAY!

I left a review a year ago, however it seems Lora Liu and her office have multiple business listings. I felt important to post the message below where need be because a YEAR after visiting her office I’m magically being billed. For what? Where was this bill 2 months after my visit or maybe six? I waited on hold last week to speak to the billing department for a half hour, only to be told that the person who answered the phone couldn’t answer my billing questions. I guess she can only take payment and that I’d hear back from someone in 72 hours. Well guess what… it’s way past that.

Anyone thinking of visiting this office please read my original review. This women is a scam.

I am so disappointed with my visit to Dr. Liu. Prior to my visit, I had gone through all the reviews of previous patients raving about her care. I am totally baffled and confused. I don't think Dr. Liu spent more than 10-15 minutes with me (15 would be stretching it). The lady at the front desk took my $50 office fee visit upon my arrival and after some time walked me into the exam room, where she proceeded to take my blood pressure on an at-home blood pressure monitor. No other vitals were recorded. Dr. Liu arrived in the room minutes later, in which she sat on a stool with her computer and did not move from the entire visit. I explained my medical history and from there she proceeded to tell me she could perform surgery - without ANY physical examination of my body. She wrapped things up as quickly as she could and explained that a surgical coordinator would be in touch and walked out. What kind of doctor charges $450 dollars ($50 dollar office fee/$400 initial consult) to speak to you for 10 minutes, suggests surgery, and then does no physical examination of any kind? Order any tests? Ask for previous lab results? I've never in my life visited a gynecologist's office and not had them actually check my female body parts. I feel sad, disappointed, and robbed.

**adding this: over one year after the date of service, I received a bill for $700 from this place…. Which I paid a year ago! They are frauds and thieves. Buyer beware! **
Literally the most poorly run medical office I have ever seen. They could not properly get prior authorization for an MRI (and lied to me by saying they had submitted what was needed to my insurance— I called my insurance and that was not the case). They referred me to PT that was not covered by my insurance and then could not send the Rx to the right place…. They push expensive procedures…. I could go on. Stay away. I wasted hours of my life here. No one deserves this.

Front desk does things sketchy can never give you a straight answers and have questionable billing practices. And will do things on their timeline.

Cannot recommend them enough. Truly was the last resort. Got the injections, combined with specific pelv therapy and accupuncture and life style changes, ive overcome over a decade of severe pain, ED, incontinence. Thank you so much, i am better and taking better care of myself:)

Great medical care - totally unethical billing practices. The front desk will tell you one amount (they're out of network) and then you'll get a surprise bill they chalk up to insurance.

I had surgery w. Dr. Liu in April of 2021 and she was the best Dr. She was kind, compassionate and even gave me her personal number after surgery where I can call and text if needed. I was worried about what the results would say and if I would still be treated if nothing was found. Dr. Liu was very reassuring and let me know regardless of what the results say my pain was real and there was a way to improve it. They were also able to work out the finances to cover my surgery so that I could get the care I desperately needed. I knew I was in good hands.

Dr. Ahmed took time to understand and diagnose my issues. She was incredibly knowledgeable and provided me with several treatment options. For once, I didn’t feel like I had to prove something was wrong with me; she took time to do a thorough internal exam where she pinpointed my concerns on her own. Highly recommend coming to see Dr. Ahmed.

Is it still the office policy to be non transparent with cost/bill and hidden fees? Very disappointing for someone in pain seeking medical services.

Only gave 1 star due to unethical/non professional business practices however dr james is a great physician.was very upset that after working with her for a year “due to changes” in office policy (never notified) i can no longer see her unless i fall below poverty line (yikes!) [despite my insurance saying all cost are covered]

Based on other comments/reviews seems office is focus on profit not leading with care…beware

Office feel free to reach out as i never got the detailed invoice for the $650 cost /per 6-8 injections breakdown as REQUESTED after i was asked to handover my credit card while still sitting on a table half naked (double yikes!)

Pelvic pain is a farce. Read unlearn your pain by Howard schubiner. Also check out John Sarno md, Alan Gordon’s book The Way Out, and educate yourself on NEUROPLASTIC PAIN. Your pain can be cured. Stop believing these doctors who seem nice but are misinformed and miseducated. Although they charge you A TON OF MONEY.they don’t accept insurance — well, DONT THEY HAVE IT GOOD! They charge you a ton - CASH! What a gimmick. I had pelvic pain and am fully cured and that’s because I reject PRM and educated myself. After paying them $6000 and having them terrify me and make me worse. Thank God I sought out neuroplastic pain and got informed.
