This place is incredible. The pricing is very competitive and usually below all the competitors … The staff are all extremely knowledgeable and will always do there best to get you what you need! They also won’t just sell you something to make a sale. They are all about finding anything and everything to help your golf game improve.

Sam, TJ and the guys are incredible instructors, that will work through your issues and provide you the knowledge needed to become a better golfer! During my lessons, I always felt comfortable and confident. I never left the place without improving some partner of my game.

Lastly! The owner Steve is a class act. He is not someone that hides in the back. He is out there helping and will talk you through whatever you need!

Simply put, the best golf shop in Rochester. Steve (the owner) is one of the most knowledgeable club guys in the United States. There's a reason this store is a Golf Digest Top 100 Club Fitter, and it's not for selling lots of a certain brand of clubs. Steve and his staff, led by Sam, will get you fit in the right clubs and shafts, based on your swing and your individual needs. Never will they push a certain club brand just to make a sale. They go by the numbers on their top of the line simulator. I have personally gone in to buy a specific driver, and their fitting and the numbers showed me that another one was best for my game. They are unapologetically honest in their fitting process, because they want you to have the best clubs for your individual needs. They can make your game better, and they enjoy the process! Also, they are great teachers, and you can take lessons inside.

If you want to get better at golf, you need to go see these guys, you won't be disappointed!

Easily the best golf shop in Rochester! The entire staff from TJ and Sam to Steve are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They’re always open to talking golf and equipment and are FANTASTIC for fittings. Group of honest guys that know what they’re talking about. Been going there for over a year now for everything from shafts to balls to putters and club fittings. Simply the best!

(This is John, the Dad.) After owning my Callaway driver for 10 years and well qualifying as a "senior" I decided to look into a new driver that might accomodate my age and swing. I went to 3 shops. The first two were good but Pennfair Golf was absolutely the best! Brian K.took a lot of time to analyze my swing and suggested a number of clubs to try. I settled on a new Callaway driver which Brian adjusted for me. I've played twice with it and I've never hit the ball off the tee so consistantly straight and far. Thanks Brian and Pennfair Golf!

Just finished up a fitting at Pennfair Golf and it was a great experience. My fitter was extremely helpful (I learned a lot about my swing) and patient. We tried many head and shaft combos to be sure I ended up with the best fit for my game. Totally relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to buy. If you’re thinking about getting new clubs, book a fitting with Pennfair. I highly recommend them to any level of golfer. Amazing experience!

I had an okay experience getting fitted. A little odd how they knew exactly what clubs I needed after only 3 swings of the club. Their price point was spot on with MSRP, but that’s because they’re not allowed to discount manufacturers pricing. I wound up finding the clubs from a different seller for around $300 less.

Price for regrips was amazing. My only wish was there were more ladies clothes. My new Ping driver is perfect. Thanks Sam and Steve

Had a great fitting for some new irons. The team was very thorough to make sure I bought the clubs that were the best for my swing. I'd highly recommend!

At first sight I saw a pro shop full of inventory.
But I was only there to have a set of irons re-gripped (which I did) however after talking with the golf pro, teaching me some of the new technology in today’s equipment, I was feeling the need/want to upgrade but I was hesitant because of price. With no pressure at all he showed me a full set that would fit my budget. I decided to sell my newly re-gripped clubs and return to buy a new full set of clubs.
Very excited for the upcoming season with my new clubs. I’ll definitely be going back for balls and accessories.

Got fitted for irons from here last year. Absolutely love them. They nailed the fit and feel perfectly. Went last week and got refit for a driver shaft (incorrectly fitted elsewhere, my fault) fitted for a 3 wood, and a new putter. Sam was awesome. Great feedback, lots of knowledge, and made sure he gave me plenty of options to make me comfortable with my purchase. He also didn’t laugh when I had some terrible swings haha! While you do pay full retail for clubs here, that’s a steal based on the expertise you are getting. Nobody should have an issue paying what the manufacturer sets while getting the rest of the experience for free. Try going to Club champion for that.

After playing golf for a couple seasons with some off brand clubs I decided to set up a fitting to see what I actually needed to improve my game.

The fitting experience was awesome! I was able to hit off the simulator and compare all different kinds stats with different club heads and shafts that were available at the shop.

By the end of the fitting I able to find the perfect clubs for me! Thanks Steve and Brian for the help!

FORE. Good place, I think their are perhaps a tad pricey, however, they are friendly and well versed and have quality items in stock. I will be back. Golf is life.

I have been buying all my golf equipment from Steve since I was a kid 14 year with my first name brand set of clubs. This is best place in Rochester to buy anything golf! Steve and his staff are awesome. They will fit you for what works for you and they really care about you. They got a large variety and fantastic pricing.
